Saw Kinghorn for extreme pain in foot. Told him I had previously been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. He saw me for a few minutes, asked me if I ate fish recently. I said yes and he immediately and unequivocally diagnosed Gout.Wow, just because I ate fish???? He said 'if it quacks like a duck, it's a duck.' He was so sure, based on what seems ridiculous basis, that it was gout. He even prescribed gout medicine. But, he also prescribed blood test to confirm.Recognizing this was odd, I did not pick up prescription. I took blood test and later that day, Kinghorn's office called and told me it was not Gout. That was it. .. except for billing of course.received a nice fat bill for a quick and wrong diagnosis.Don't consider him. Go elsewhere.

GO TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON
This doctor permanently damaged my foot. I went to get a 2nd opinion from an orthopedic surgeon and he indicated that multiple mistakes exist. I will have to spend thousand of dollars to have the mistakes he made corrected .. Kinghorn is not a good surgeon. I walk with a permanent limp and constant pain due to his work my foot and second toe are numb and out of alignment. It was for a simple bunion and my toe won’t bend.

Horrible for conservative treatment
Dr. Kinghorn seems nice, but provided no suggestions on how to rehab a plantar plate tear. He gave me a splint, but no exercises or recommendations on best practices to heal vs surgery. He said is "WHEN it gets worse, we can do surgery." I guess there's not enough money in follow up appointments for monitoring progress (or lack of). I know several people who have had food surgery and they all have worse issues with their feet now,; I'm not willing to go that route, unless I have no other choice. I did research online and found recommendations for rest, heat/cold alternate, shoes with rocker soles, and exercises. Clearly there are things to try BEFORE surgery. It's sad that doctors no longer have their patients best interest in mind ,surgery should ALWAYS be a last resort.

Yes. I like the doctor ..he was nice and understanding......like I said ..It would be nice to get a call...love the discount ( blessings) as many of us make $15.00 an hour, doctor's get $100-285.00 for 30 minutes.!! ! We are in pain...but it still seems like MONEY is everyone's issues ....sad...

Dr. Kinghorn and his staff are so amazing!Friendly yet professional they treat you like family. Dr. Kinghorn never rushes you and no matter how small the question he answers all of it. I had my first surgery on my right foot, the recoup time isn't easy. Especially if you are an independent person (such as myself). I have had many surgeries and this was the hardest for me to recoup. I Will say 100 % worth it!Can't wait to have my left foot done.Thank u so much for giving me my life back!

After first appointment, I am very comfortable with the treatment I chose. Options were explained very well, office staff was great and Dr Kinghorn took a lot of time with us going over the injury, showing us the xrays and explaining the surgery I chose. Highly recommend.

I called for first time and attempted to make an appointment, Jessica told me that I should call Cigna first, and then call back. I did so and called back, she was very rude, and she "lost signal" when I was asking questions about coverage. Not friendly, and slightly arrogant and condescending. I am sure Dr Kinghorn is a competent Dr. but he should have help that is willing to answer questions without being put off. Please Jessica, just be nice, it goes a long way. Train staff to be more helpful

I had a Lapidus bunion surgery in late August. Dr. Kinghorn had explained fully the procedure and the recovery time involved. The surgery was outpatient and went very well. The recovery was long and tedious - non-weight bearing for 4 weeks. The pain was virtually non-existent after about the first week. At my 4 week checkup the bone had fused to the point I was released to walk in the surgical boot. I am 9 weeks post -op and would definitely recommend Dr. Kinghorn for a foot procedure.

Dr. Kinghorn was pleasant and confident in his assessment of my condition. He offered more than one solution which made me feel like I was part of the solution process. His explanation of the condition and recovery from surgery was spot on. His office staff was great and made getting appointments a breeze.

I would recommend anyone go to Dr. Kinghorn. He treats his patients like the individuals they are. He is complete and thorough with his accessments and is amazing with his procedures if not perfect. He takes the necessary time needed to make sure you're completely healed before releasing you. His office and personnel are awesome and friendly and they are all flexible and fun to be around. I will miss them all greatly. Thank you all for all you did for me. ??

I still have the issue I originally went in for (and it was ignored after two visits and a phone call) and some how I got guilted into buying inserts even when I told them I couldn't afford it. They also can't answer questions about your bill accurately so you end up with surprise costs.
