Dr. Icenogle Sr has every exceptional orthopedic surgeon quality a patient could want. He is very educated, personable, has courage to make difficult decisions. He has good communication skills with everyone that is involved in each patients case. He is very careful when prescribing medications for pain etc. He will not prescribe any pain meds unless you absolutely need it & if so, only in a small quantity & abide by the drug rules. He also is available at anytime. He is the best Dr. Thanks

Dr Icenogle and his staff are awesome! Dr Icenogle performed my first wrist surgery back in Feb of 2018 and it went so well that I just had him do my other wrist this past Sept 2018. He is so easy to talk to and explains everything ahead of time so thoroughly. I never feel rushed and feel like he is truly listening. If I ever need anything done in the future, I will definitely return to Dr Icenogle and his staff! I will also definitely recommend him!

He rushes through things to quickly and doesn’t explain things he leaves you hanging. After my surgery is done then he decides to share with me that the surgery may not help. WTH! I wouldn’t of had the surgery if I knew that before hand.

Bedside manner leaves little to be desired. Very arrogant man who can be dismissive of your concerns or symptoms.

My thumb surgery was GREAT!!! He was upfront about my options and although I was hoping to avoid surgery.....it was the most efficient process to remedy my condition. I hope any future health needs I require will be handled with this same amount of efficiency and professionalism!!!

His bedside manner is poor. When you're talking, he tries to steer the conversation away from what you're asking about. I also felt he was very rushed because he was being short with me and didn't fully explain my questions.
