In January 2021 my wife went to the ER for symptoms she was experiencing they did the blood work and scans. DR. Holt returned and informed my wife her liver was failing due to Alcoholic cirrhosis. My wife informed him she does not consume alcohol he said “well that’s what you have” she called me on speaker phone I said “Dr my wife does not drink” he said that’s good because you have to be sober to receive a transplant. He gave a referral to the local GI, the nurses and staff were telling my wife about family member that were alcoholics etc. needless to say she was in shock, devastated and, confused. She was released two hours later. Thankfully I got her into the hands of professionals at Stanford and was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis her liver problems had nothing to do with alcohol she is recovering and getting better. An Er doctor should never make a presumption diagnosis Dr Holt had no empathy and his bedside manner was atrocious In delivering you such devastating news.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Holt?
On october 28th 2018 went to the ER and was treated by Dr. Holt for a urinary infection. He gave me a injection of ceftriaxone an anti biotic which turned out to be from feed back from other Doctors way out of line for a simple infection. I argued with Dr Holt at the time not wanting my gut biome destroyed and my immumne system compromised. Its a year and half later within 3 months went from 145 lbs to 125lbs lost my ability to assimulate and digest food was and still am struggling to keep my weight at 135lbs. I have spent hundreds of dollars on blood test checking for H-plori, celeac and food alergies. Hundreds of dollars exploring a resolution with nutritionist. The reason for writing this I wish to wake Doctor up and patients up the the Down side of giving anti- life drugs. You hold an oath to do no harm. You have fail me
