Dr. Kunal Karmali, MD

I find the above review hard to believe. Dr. Karmali has always been respectful and kind. He explains everything in easy to understand language. Of all the doctors that I have had, he is the one who makes me feel the most comfortable. I always leave my appointment with a smile. I highly recommend him.

We had a terrible experience with this egotistical man. Dr. Karmali told my mother she had too much claudication in her legs to stent. My mom was in chronic pain and during the year Dr. Karmali treated her, she was in chronic pain, ended up in a wheelchair, and the nearly lost her foot which prompted the podiatrist to recommend vascular surgeon. Karmali negated this, behaved unprofessionally, wouldn’t recommend mom to his partner, the vascular surgeon. We went elsewhere for second opinion. My mom saw a vascular surgeon, he treated her blocked iliac arteries. Her foot healed within 48 hours and she never needed any additional stents. Her pain disappeared overnight! You should know Dr. Karmali spoke disrespectfully about my mother and me in a conversation with his vascular surgeons nurse when he thought we were on hold. We heard his entire conversation and it was very unprofessional. His inexperience with the elderly proved dangerous to us. We reported him to the hospital board.
