My experience was rough to say the absolute least. It appears that the character limit is too small for me to actually explain everything. In short, I have several autoimmune, genetic, and chronic pain issues as well as mental health struggles, everyone knows finding medications can be trial and error and yet she didn't seem to realize that was what had happened and from the get go acted as if I was sketchy. Refused to continue the panic attack and insomnia meds I'd been on from my original psych and wanted to take me off my ADHD med, saying my problem was 'just mood'. She started me on a med that sent me into mania and spiked my insomnia and then flat out told me it was impossible - even though it's on the PDF from the med manufacturer. She also accused me of somehow mysteriously gaming the system and getting double ADHD meds (which would be impossible) all because she read the date wrong and never apologized. Doesn't seem to think people understand their own bodies and so much more.

Thoroughly terrible.
I've had a terrible experience with Dr. Tang. She discounts things I say, refused to give me an ADHD screening, and instead ups my already existing meds (against my wishes) more and more with each visit. There is no personal connection, and it feels like she wanted to get me off of each telehealth appt as quickly as possible.I'm currently on day 3 trying to refill those medications - by the way, you have to do this EVERY month, and this total mess also happens every month. It took until day 3 of conversations with the office for them to mention that I actually had to schedule an appt. (?) with her to get those refills. I hadn't done that for previous refills, nor was I warned beforehand, so no appts are available for two weeks. I wonder if it's because I told her I was going to be looking for another doctor?I'm now going to go over 2 weeks without my medications, hoping for an appointment to open up that I didn't know I needed. Go somewhere else for your mental health care needs.

She hung on me during our appointment
I've never met a clinician who was more rude than Dr. Tang. She hung up on me during our last scheduled appointment. She seemed extremely defensive when I asked multiple questions about SSRIs, the benefits of taking long-term medication, and the expectations of the current prescription she had provided to me. After asking multiple times, she spoke over me and angrily cut off our call. She never answered any of my questions for follow-up. I would NOT recommend her to someone who is new to taking medication for their mental health when she can't answer basic questions about what those can do for you.

Ghosted
I really hate that I feel the need to leave this review. I've met with Dr. Tang a few times and everything was just fine. She was thorough, asked the right questions, and listened well. She prescribed medication and we tracked that for a few months. The last visit we decided to change medications and a script was written for a 1-month supply. I started emailing approximately a week prior to running out to let her know all was good and that I was about to run out and needed another script. I didn't hear back for a few days later so I sent another message, and then another, and then a voicemail, and then another message. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and I literally haven't heard back from her. I've been out of the medication (anti-anxiety) for nearly a week now. She knows you are not supposed to stop taking this medication abruptly and the effects if you do; I'm experiencing many of those effects. I just find it unbelievable and unacceptable to not reply to a patient.
