Refused to be seen
I am pregnant in my first trimester with twins and have come down with a bad illness and wanted to get checked out. I can never get an appointment with Dr. Maudoodi in person. I’m always told to go to the walk in clinic or the ER. It seems pointless to have a PCP.

HARTFORD HEALTHCARE SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM
I only ever had to see Dr. Maudoodi for yearly wellness exams over a period of several years. She personally was always pleasant and I was never rushed, but I always wondered if her exams were thorough enough. For example, she never ordered an EKG, although I am in my 60's.My real problem was being on hold for at least 15 minutes, if not more, every single time I had to call the office. The last straw, however, was when I showed up for my latest yearly exam and was told the doctor was out sick, but it would be 6 months before I could do so!!I was offered an earlier appointment with one of the other staff (none of whom are doctors,) but even then it would be weeks away. I was so shocked that the wait would be that long, especially since they had to cancel, not me, that I wrote a letter and hand delivered it to the office the next day, asking for help in resolving this situation. I never heard back.

Regular office visit and blood work.
Ordered and explained relevant blood tests. Added an appropriate test when I requested via MyChart. Double checked blood medical assistant’s unusual blood pressure reading. Asked thorough thoughtful questions and answered my questions.

In these times, it's difficult to get appointments, much less have a lot of time with the provider. That being said, after three visits with this provider, I feel that she's competent and makes intelligent recommendations. One tends to feel a bit rushed and there's a sense of abruptness to any conversations, but that's been my experience with just about every provider I've seen over the past couple of years.

She doesn't not care one bit about her patients. I'm convinced she had family and friends leave her reviews on Google. She rushes you out of the office, doesn't listen to what's happening for your visit and has not once replied to an email. She has her assistant reply. When I've asked for a call or an email from her instead of the assistant it never happens. Getting a referral is pretty impossible if she doesn't think it's necessary, but she doesn't think anything necessary cause she doesn't listen to the concerns from the beginning. Awful.
