Hour long wait time
Received a phone reminder about the appointment at 1:30 pm. There were several individuals in the waiting area when I arrived and many were comparing their appointment times. There was a sign in sheet that was required that seemed too visible for everyone to be able to see and made me question immediately that my name was written on a paper with others. Additionally, because I was a new pt, I was required to fill out some paperwork which asked for my social security number. I did not write it down and the receptionist indicated that it was necessary. I explained to her that I had been a victim of fraud in the past and refused again. I was called back to see Dr. Gupta at 2:45 and was told there were 7 new patients that were being seen this day. It seems that if a new pt takes more time, this should be allotted for at the time of the appt and not when the pt is waiting for over an hour in a waiting area.

Truly Gifted at Diagnosis and Treatment
Dr. Gupta is straight and to the point. He is one of those uniquely gifted at diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. I never minded waiting in the office because I knew how in demand he was. He was the best psychiatrist I have dealt with in over 20 years. I would still go to him, if I lived in Toledo.

We did not keep our appt. w/ Dr. Gupta d/t out of network for insurance. But speaking w/ the receptionist she was extremely rude et unprofessional. I work in the healthcare field & would never consider speaking to a pt like that. If she is a representative of what his practice is all about.. stay clear

I have never had this Doctor, thankfully. But my mother has. She suffers from a mental illness and is currently psychotic and delusional. He literally told her that then two days later released her from the hospital. After picking her up she was still delusional and psychotic and actually threatened to kill my sister, and had to go to a different hospital. He's an idiot and could care less about people.
