Dr. Kristy Bowen, MD

I had been in severe pain all day from a shoulder issue and she was nothing but short and rude each time she spoke with me. Had a very 'well what do you want me to do?' attitude and I was spoken down to for taking 'such a low dose' of ibuprofen ("my child takes more than that") even though I was just following the directions on the bottle. Unnecessarily rude and barely helpful.

My PCP advised me to go to the ER. So I did. Arrived by ambulance 830pm. Around 12amThis Dr Kristy Bowen came into my isolation room very unprofessional and down right mean. I felt like I was being bullied. I was already crying in pain n panicking Her behavior/conduct is currently being investigated. She refused to hand me my phone and told me to get it my self. I asked her to put my siderail down and she refused and stated I was too climb off the end She refused to help me left the room and refused my request for a supervisor. Well I did what she said I got my phone after wobbling to it. Called my son and he called the Supervisor she then went as far as to tell the supervisor I was refusing Treatment All because I wouldn't wear a mask that had been on the floor. She then discharged me and told me to sit in the lobby until the cab service was running. AT 6AM. BTW Still no acetaminophen. Until after I was discharged...

She is obnoxious, rude, pushy and totally disrespectful. She should not be running an ER even in that horrific hospital. She had the audacity to approach me, get up in my face and completely lie about my status in the hospital and getting discharged. She isn’t even an MD!
