Urgent Care
I've had consistent recurrent episodes of shingles. I'm a registered nurse of 45 years and I came in. because my shingles are normally on my back but it looked like they may be occurring on the left side of my face. This Doctor was insensitive. rude arrogant & basically didn't care said she felt nothing even though I could feel it and see it. I told her my PCP had retired. & I was looking for Internal Medicine. Physicians, not a family practice Doctor she tossed a sheet in front of me with a list of family practice. Doctors and referred me to a family practice. Doctor on my Discharge orders This physician is uncaring. & rude I would not send anybody to herThis is the first time I have had a bad experience with main line health. I live in Delaware. I always come to mainline health and every other physician has been absolutely magnificent. She is the worst of the worst.

Insensitive and not thorough.
I brought my son into urgent care with strep symptoms and was seen by Dr. Ruch-Harvey. My son is on the spectrum and was very anxious about the visit and the testing involved. I can attest that despite his nerves and looping questions, my son is quickly adored by adults across most settings. Dr. Ruch-Harvey appeared bothered by his fear and didn’t seem invested in spreading a thorough time in helping him. We all have bad days but after reading similar reviews, it makes me sad that a person that has worked hard to be in an incredible career to help people, is leaving people feeling this way. Autism or not, people are allowed to feel nervous at appointments. Kindness and patience is a part of patient care.

Unprofessional and rude
I understand Urgent Care is very busy and a difficult profession, and I respect the hard work that it takes the care team to do their job. What I expect when visiting Urgent Care is a basic level of human care and professionalism. Dr Ruch-Harvey strongly lacks both. She was short, rude, and ultimately made me feel like I was wrong to seek care while recovering from serious upper respiratory illnesses. Based on the other recent reviews, this is not her first time treating patients like this.

Condescending and Unprofessional
Some people should just not work in medicine, or with the public in general. This is one of them. She spent the majority of our brief encounter swiftly dismissing concerns, denying tests, and questioning the validity of KNOWN ALLERGIES. I ended up calling back the next day and consulting with a different provider who ordered the pertinent tests she left out. She seemed preoccupied with how quickly she could get in and out of the exam room instead of actually providing quality medical care.

Lack of Sensitivity - ZERO stars
During a medical emergency involving my mother, we sought assistance from Dr. Ruch. Unfortunately, instead of providing the necessary care and support, Dr. Ruch displayed insensitivity and refused to administer treatment. This response was particularly distressing as my mother’s condition required immediate attention, which Dr. Ruch failed to acknowledge or address.Furthermore, I found Dr. Ruch’s behavior to be lacking in cultural competence. Despite my mother being in excruciating pain, Dr. Ruch remained dismissive, unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend her to anyone. In times of medical crisis, it is imperative for healthcare professionals to demonstrate compassion, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity. She showed that she will put her own feelings and perceptions over a patient’s well being.
