Very professional
It’s never good to have to see an oncologist. That’s the stark reality. I wanted a doctor who would be totally upfront with me; no sugarcoating. I found her. Dr. Thorp had the HARD conversations with me. She was thorough yet honest. She is a doctor that honored me by answering my questions in a way I could understand while not talking down to me. Highly recommend.

not recommending her
I am the mother to a patient diagnosed with cancer. She doesn't want to give any kind of hope to anyone, I don't feel. I understand she is a doctor, she has seen a lot and knows the odds, but this disease is fought 75% with having a positive outlook, and she pops every dang balloon of hope she can. I do not recommend her, unless you want a continual dose of gloom. I am encouraging my patient to seek another doctor, she doesn't have what it takes.

Uncaring
Dr. Thorp and her staff care very little about patients. I desperately needed treatment, and was continually put off (though my insurance was perfectly fine). I finally found a caring, courageous provider who put patients above bureaucratic process.
