Pathetic staff and pathetic service
I arrived on time after driving one hour for my appointment, only to be told that I would have to reschedule because a member of the staff called me 2 1/2 hours earlier and left a message asking that I arrive early to complete paperwork. Never mind that I had completed all the paperwork on the portal and had confirmed. Never mind that they did not try to reach me again despite the fact that they knew I had not picked-up. Dr. Cardamone did not even come out to talk with me about this, and instead had her patronizing staff deliver the news. Absolutely pathetic service. I did not actually receive any treatment from Dr. Cardamone, but if the way she runs her office and how she dismissed me is any indication, you will be better off with another doctor.

I implore anyone with a difficult case, do not go to this dr. In fact, do not go to summit medical. They are only interested in profit. She misdiagnosed me a few years ago and I'm still fighting with this debilitating illness which needs to be recognized as quickly as possible. Giving me a diet wasn't going to do anything. She has no empathy whatsoever. No eye contact. In fact, I could say she may be autistic. She ordered some kind of saline injections which only made things worse and not covered by ins. I paid but then was charged a co pay because I asked a question. Like I said, summit medical isn't the place to go unless you need a simple hang nail clipped.

Great Experience with Dr. Cardamone
I was recommended to see Dr Cardamone after I had back surgery. The back surgery was a success but I have arthritis in my SI joint and facet joint at L5-S1. Upon meeting Dr Cardamone, she took her time to get to know me and what my issues were. She looked over my MRIs to confirm and at it which point she provided me with options. I opted to take a specific course of action and three weeks later, I am feeling 70% better. I am extremely confidant that Dr Cardamone will help me get well and as close to pain free as I can be. I am also in recovery and her understanding and not wanting to give me a narcotic for pain was refreshing!!!!

The Bedside Manner of a Wolverine
Dr. Cardamone was obviously in a hurry. She was rude and not at all interested in my husband's back pain. Perhaps she was hoping for a good-looking young guy with an interesting athletic injury instead of an 82 yo man with back pain. She said she wanted an MRI and that if we stopped downstairs in the imaging department, they might be able to squeeze him in that day. Good thought, bad execution; she NEVER entered the MRI order into the SMG system, and it took her five days to enter her very rudimentary notes into the patient portal. If you're an animal-lover looking for something different in your health care, by all means, give Dr. Wolverine Cardamone a try. If you're looking for something a little more traditional or compassionate, please go elsewhere.

Do not recommend!!
I saw her a few months ago, & still can’t believe how negative my experience was. My appointment was very rushed, & she acted as though I was a bother just by being there. She didn’t listen to me at all re the pain I was having, & left the room before I could ask any questions. No compassion, no interest. Total time she gave me was 7-8 minutes, far too little for a new patient. Very snippy, abrupt, superior attitude.

Very bad experience. Was referred by my general practitioner, who booked my original appointment with her about a week out . Later that day I was called by Dr. Cardamones office and told that their scheduling system had made an error and that I needed to reschedule. They had an opening the very next day at 930a. I arrived to the building on time, but had to go through 3 different reception desks as the doctor had moved floors in the building but the signage wasn't fully updated. Finally getting to the right desk, at 9:47, I was told I missed the "15 minute grace period" and the doctor was no longer available. They then told me their were no available appointments until mid November (today is October 7). Not very helpful considering the reason for the visit was pain management for a pinched nerve. Would expect a bit more flexibility given the urgency of the situation, the scheduling issues on their end, and that i had to run around the building to find the right place.

Dr Cardamone is very personable and knowledgeable. She listened to all my issues and didn't rush our appointments at all. She takes her time explaining things. The prolozone injections have taken away all my chronic pain and have truly changed my life. I am very grateful!

For thirty years, I have struggled with joint pain, fatigue and migraines. I've been to a number of different doctors and tried various medications, but I've never been able to get relief. Finally, I found Dr. Cardamone. And she sent me to specialized physical therapy treating my neck and jaw pain. In addition, she put me on low-dose Naltrexone. She also did blood work and discovered that I have a mutant gene that makes it difficult to absorb B vitamins, and I was also deficient in Vitamin D. She recommended Mitovive, a supplement with magnesium and active B vitamins. I've responded really well to this. Because she took the time to listen and analyze all of my symptoms, she was able to provide a good plan of treatment...between the PT, vitaman supplements, and Naltrexone. Now my migraines are significantly better, I rarely have to take my tripan prescription. My energy level back to normal, and I don't have the joint and muscle pain I used to have, and I can stop taking prednisone.
