Everytime I go for my annual visit I feel rushed and as if I'm asking too many questions. Often times not having a true conversation about my gynecological health.

I was a patient of Dr. Rebo-Massara for several years, and at first it was great. She was (I'm sure still is) very sweet and likeable. Then it seemed like she was triple booked, and rushed through my yearly exam and if I had questions I felt like I had to ask them quickly and she'd answer while walking out the door. I had another surgery and they said my left ovary looked odd. When I contacted her (per the surgeon's suggestion), she poo-poo'd it, saying it was probably a cyst from my cycle. After questioning it several times, she sent me for an U/S and then an MRI, and eventually surgery, where it turned out it was a low grade cancer. Had I not pushed for more testing, and just went with "it'll go away on it's own, probably a regular cyst from your cycle" who knows where I'd be. The oncologist wanted the ovary removed to reduce the chance of a more aggressive cancer affecting the area. Same situation happened to a friend recently with her.
