I felt listened to
I wasn't optimistic about my appt after being seen by the nurse prior to the doctor coming in as the nurse had no patience, did not explain that she was training someone, and was not a good listener. Dr. Kotzeva was patient while I provided the history of my foot and ankle pain and was very up front about my options. While I left without a need for further intervention as my condition is chronic and surgery would either limit my mobility or cause pain in another area or due to scar tissue, I felt a better understanding of my condition and how to best help myself. Dr. Kotzeva did offer for me to come in if I needed a new ASO brace which I appreciated. I liked that she gave all the pros and cons to surgery and PRP therapy and we came to a resolution together. What I really appreciated is that she didn't push surgery which other physicians are quick to go to. I would highly recommend Dr. Kotzeva.
