She was absolutely amazing Eye doctor specialist!
Dr. Kinard was absolutely amazing! I have Multiple Sclerosis and she was so joyful and excited to help me with poor eye sight due to my nerves not performing properly in my eyes. She problem solved and was willing to listen and help me with my complex eye problems. She gave me a new world to see by being willing to spend the time to figure out my eye sight problems. I was previously told ‘oh it is just your MS’ and left to suffer and think that this was what I was stuck with…. Very poor vision. She had great bedside manner and was very helpful. Now I can see and it is so amazing!!!! She is a true Angel! She was so good that my Navy veteran family member made an appointment and had surgery too. Ray was very happy as well. Words cannot express how thankful my husband and kids felt… truely a miracle.

Standard of care not present.
During my appointment with Dr. Kinard, I felt like I was in an alternate dimension. Dr. Kindard's manners felt brusk -- like I was an annoyance in her schedule. She diagnosed me with a serious, debilitating condition without doing the sort of thorough, compassionate exam I'd expect to confirm such a diagnosis. When I raised concerns that other doctors had ruled that condition out, she dismissed them out of hand. During the course of this appointment, her staff suggested that I do a surgery to realign my eyes so I'd look more professional and attractive. When I pressed for any visual benefit or relief from my symptoms, they awkwardly told me there wouldn't be much. Taken as a whole, it was an awkward, frustrating appointment that seemed more focused on selling me an unnecessary surgery than providing answers for my symptoms (which, it turned out later, were significant for an entirely different disease.) This isn't a good standard of care and I'd urge people to go elsewhere.

Dr. Kinnard took time to explain my condition and the choices for treatment. I did not feel rushed and had complete confidence in her abilities. She, with her associates, gave me a complete base lie examination.
