Concerned and caring dermatologist. Very thorough exam.

Dr. Buckley is friendly and open to questions and reviews concerns from past visits as she performs her exam. She is always making sure of her patient’s comfort and is responsive to their needs.

I like her a lot. She is both congenial and professional. Dr. Buckley is responsive to questions and explains things well. For many of us, our first skin exam can feel disconcerting and awkward. But Dr. Buckley seemed very attuned to my comfort level. At each step she told me what she was about to do and asked if I was OK with it before proceeding. I’ve now had several exams and they have become routine and non-stressful.I should note that she does not check your private areas even though the American Academy of Dermatologists recommends it for all total-body skin exams. But the reality is only about half of dermatologists follow their guidance so she’s pretty typical. For anyone who regularly sees a gynecologist or urologist, it should be a nonissue. One little nit I have is that her office sends out frequent marketing emails promoting assorted creams, lotions and beauty treatments. Sometimes I feel like I’m dealing with a pesky online retailer.

Have been seeing Dr. Buckley for years and have always had a good experience. She is thorough, always listens to my concerns, and works with me on solutions.
