I saw Dr. Radcliff in the early spring of 2023 and he said I could be playing golf by September . On Tuesday April 11, 2023 he operated on my back along with another surgeon (his name is unknown to me even though I’ve asked Dr. Radcliff for his name on several occasions)who made an incision so Dr. Radcliff could enter my back from my abdomen. Dr. Radcliff saw me in the recovery room when I was still unconscious. That was the last time Dr. Radcliff saw me. The hospital chosen by the Dr. was the worse hospital in which I have been a patient. Upon returning home I was confined to a wheel chair for two weeks then a walker followed by a cane . I can walk now but am unsteady on my feet.Dr. Radcliff’s suggestion was come back I will get in there and look around. He had his surgicial scheduler call on two occasions with dates I refused . I am in pain constantly. I never hear from the Dr. and regret using him . His post op follow up was in my experience terrible. I would never recommend him

Dr. Radcliff Truly Cares About His Patients
I saw Dr. Radcliff in 2015 and had an outcome from my ACDF surgery that was so much more than I expected due to his excellent surgical skills! I recently saw him for another matter in his new office, the Spinal DISC Center In Somers Point. It is an office that has a calming and relaxing atmosphere where he is able to spend the time necessary to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. His follow up with test results are second to none! I highly recommend Dr. Radcliff if you want excellent surgical and diagnostic skills coupled with someone who truly cares about his patients!

A doctor willing to spend time with the patient.
Dr Radcliff and his PA were very knowledgeable on my condition. Both spent considerably time examining me, explaining my diagnosis, and providing options. Dr Radcliff was very genuine and made me feel comfortable on how to proceed.

If something goes wrong, he's MIA. Avoid!
Dr. Kristen Radcliff convinced my father that he needed spinal surgery. Somehow, my father got the impression that he'd become incontinent if he didn't go through with it. After the operation, which turned out to be miraculously less invasive than the doctor anticipated, my father father got a palsy in his arm. He was 80 at the time, and Dr. Kris Radcliff just sent him home. My father was in excruciating pain, could barely walk, and he ended up falling. He still has limited use of his arm, and ALL of the pains he had before the operation (which were supposed to be fixed by Dr. Radcliff's surgery) are still there. Awful!

Felt so at ease
This was my first time at Rothman. From the time I arrived to leaving, each and every person I came in contact ( receptionist, radiology to scheduling my surgery) with, were extremely helpful, reassuring and very friendly. As for Dr. Radcliffe very friendly and looked directly at me when talking. Showing me he’s there to help me feel better. Dr.Radcliffe explained my radiology films and what my surgery consisted of. I will definitely return to Rothman and refer family and friends. I really feel I’m in good hands at Rothman and Dr. Radcliffe. My primary care physician referred me, I just couldn’t thank him enough.

Lumbar Laminectomy was done Dec. 2019. Two years later, sciatica pain again plus neck pain. With history of stenosis and arthritis in spine, went back to Dr. Radcliff. MRI would be needed for accurate diagnosis. Insurance will not cover unless PT is done first. PT was prescribed and appointment made to see him in one month. After month of PT, no improvement. PT report sent to Dr. Radcliff, but he did not look at it. He said, "Just tell me what is going on". He was in a hurry and quickly dismissed that my problems were spine related. He suggested Neurologist for my neck and a Hip Doctor for my sciatica pain. I tried asking questions. He was abrupt and condescending. He basically said he was a spine expert and no one should be questioning his judgement. He totally blew off the fact that we discussed the need for an MRI a month earlier. This was the whole reason for the PT. Instead, he gives me a haphazard diagnosis that I do not agree with. He is arrogant and has no compassion.

The Rothman facility in Egg Harbor Twp. Was different to fond using my iPhone map. However, I managed to find it. The patient registration was easy using the electronic platform. The X-Rays were done prior to my visit with Dr. Radcliff. Once in the patient room I first spoke with Doctor who assist’s Dr. Radcliff. He was great at diagnosing my low back problems. Then he brought his medical notes to discuss with Dr. Radcliff. When Dr. Radcliff entered the room he basically knew of my back problems and showed them to me using my X-Rays to explain everything to me. Both doctors were excellent and I left their office with a good understanding of my low back problems.

I saw Dr. Radcliff in July 2021 for a failed cervical fusion. I highly recommend him - he is very knowledgeable in the field of spine surgery and performed a multi-level ACDF for me. He made me feel most comfortable all through this trying experience. His bedside manner is fabulous. I was in an extreme amount of pain and I am happy to say he resolved my pain issues. He performed the surgery at Capital Health Medical Center in Pennington, NJ. While this hospital is an hour and 15 minutes from my home, I have to say that this was the most well-run hospital I have ever been in. From the staff, to the doctors, to the nursing staff, they were ALL, and I mean ALL, professional, knowledgeable, caring and pleasant. What a great experience for something that I was so scared about! Thank you, Dr. Radcliff and staff.
