My favorite oncologist thus far
Dr. Sideras is phenomenal. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. He’s my 3rd oncologist with Mayo. I was sad when the other oncologists moved or retired but finding out he’s leaving Mayo is upsetting. I’m only leaving a review because I’m searching for where he will be practicing next. I went to Mayo because of all the research but I am not happy with the lack of communication. I’m hoping to find where Dr. Sideras is now. I always left my appointments feeling confident in his care. That’s a huge loss for Mayo.

Takes time for all questions
Telehealth
Dr. Sideras is friendly, direct and very thorough in discussing pathology results , options for treatment after surgery, and questions and concerns. I felt very well prepared and confident after the appointment.

Dr. Sideras guided me through my breast cancer decisions and informed me, answered my questions, explained my options and listened to my input and concerns. He was easy to talk to, thorough and had empathy and genuine concern. I am grateful and thankful for his care and guidance.

I would recommend Dr. Sideras to anyone!
For the past two and a half years I have received nothing but excellent health care from this provider along with every other provider that i have received care from at Mayo Clinic. I drive 250 miles one way every three weeks and it's worth every mile! I highly recommend him to all breast cancer patients! He is a specialist and very knowledgeable of breast cancer!
