Excellent Doctor and Staff
The office staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Patel was kind and did an excellent examination. They did an EKG and drew blood in the office. All in all, this is an excellent doctor with an excellent staff.

Do not go to this man. He is mean and belittles his patients. He wanted me to change my insurance company and when I said no he ended my appointment very rudely. He should not be a doctor really!!!

I definitely would. My neurologist had to retire suddenly and when he retired he highly recommended Dr. Patel to all his patients. Dr. Patel immediately took over all his patients! I was seen within two weeks of calling. If they are busy when I go for appointments the most is 1/2 hr wait. I recognize he is treating people with emergency/severe needs - stroke, spinal injuries etc.. so I understand. I have been his patient now for 8 months and my treatment by staff and doctor have been excellent. Phones are busy and there may be less than 5 minute hold time if they are busy which I get because I’m not the only patient. I’ve had two previous neurologists and there were wait times at those offices too - this is a highly skilled and in demand specialty I’ve required treatment from for over 20 years so I’ve learned to be patient. He absolutely did not offer or push any narcotics nor did I ask, he has never cursed and politely repeats anything I miss. Great Neurologist 10 ??

I've had an onset of severe shortness of breath over the last month which is getting worse. I went to see Dr. Patel Friday, 5/24/19 asking him to order an echo and possibly a cat scan. (I have an echo scheduled for 6/10/19 but felt a sense of urgency... especially since we're going into the Memorial Day weekend. I feel like I did when I had a blood clot to my lungs and when I had an atrial septal defect (hole in my heart) which was repaired 39 years ago. I feel possibly it's reopened. I know something is wrong. I do have Pulmonary Hypertension. Patel said "my symptoms were all in my head, if I wanted to be sick, I would be, that there was no urgency in having the echo-cardiogram, that I had PH and needed to be on medication for that". He told me to find another Doctor... he wasn't going to deal with me! Said my lungs were clear and heart sounded ok. I told him I know my body and know that something is wrong... that I couldn't walk from my bedroom to the front door I'm completely out o

In reception the ladies (a receptionist and a nurse) are welcoming, professional and helpful. Dr Patel has a pleasing professional manner and is a no nonsense medical doctor who gives sound advice and diagnoses. After my last primary care physician he is a revelation.

DO NOT USE THIS DR. He does not care about his patients unless they make him money. He bases patient's care on if he can make money. He does not take time to listen or treat any areas that he supposedly has listed that he treats. He only checks meds, listen to heart & lungs & that's it! He is rude to his patients and his staff. I have seen this multiple times. He is rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate and inpatient with his patients unless his favs. He does not have your best interest in mind

Was told that I HAD to go to Dr. Patel for a follow up from the hospital. What a joke. I didn't HAVE to, the hospital had to put a name down and he payed the hospital for the business. He gets tons of new patients a month as a recommended follow up, but none of them stay. Once they walk into the office and see how much his employees DO NOT WANT TO BE THERE YOU WONDER WHY.Then you meet him. I wouldn't want to work with that type of person either. Talk about having a GOD simplex. FIND ANOTHER DR.
