Dr. Kirti Bhargava-Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is such a caring Dr. She always takes her time with me and has been very helpful with my medical issues.

Do not go to this provider if you want to be treated with respect and kindness. She is always late, never listens to you and has been quite rude. You can not get an appointment for sick visits or get a prescription called in any timely manner. Plus any tests she orders she always says she didn’t get it. So frustrating. The final straw was her being very rude to my elderly mother. However, the office staff is nice.

She listens, researches your concern and follows up. Staff is friendly and office is clean.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel since 2007 she is such a caring, passionate Doctor always listens to what is going on with her patients and give the best medical options for them.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Patel for a few years now. We couldn’t be more satisfied with her care. In our 60’s she has seen us thru a couple of health scares. She is patient, she listens and is thorough at every visit. We have referred friends to her practice and all have good things to say. She is #1 in our book and we would highly recommend!

Dr. Patel will site policy and withhold prescribing blood pressure meds which to my understanding is pretty nonnegotiable — if you need it you need it. Apparently she is willing to see if you will stroke out and is unable to look at the big picture nor does she have compassion. I scheduled bloodwork but the day after my appt I went out of town for 10 days and came back sick with Covid and had to reschedule my bloodwork appt. I also work full time and getting in for blood work is not easy. Now my bloodwork is done but she has for a week refused to refill my prescription because she’s waiting on my bloodwork results. What one thing has to do with the other I have no idea. Things are not black-and-white in life, this is a medication that is not going to harm me by continuing to take it, however it could be very dangerous if I don’t take it. That’s not the kind of doctor that I want to continue with. My mother left her practice years ago, I should have done the same.

Many years ago when she was in a partnership practice she was a good MD. Attentive and provided quality care but she is short-patience and only concerned about getting revolving door office visits than providing good care to patients.

Dr. Patel is without question the finest, most knowledgeable physician I have ever experienced. I have recommended her to my entire family, clients and friends over the years and they are all still enjoying her as their physician. I have never heard one complaint. She is simply an amazing doctor!

This doctor does not care for patients health

I was due for yearly visit-had been seeing Pauline Ashton for years-only saw Dr Patel 2 times in the 18+ years of going to her office. I was told Pauline was no longer with the practice-so I saw Dr Patel. She was rude, abrupt, did not let me speak, and was condescending in her mannerism. Worst experience I have ever had-she informed me after rushing thru my appt that she was dropping me from her practice. I am thankful I was not really sick-because she treated me terribly. I would advise to go somewhere else!

Everyone one starting at the front desk is so nice. Love my visits to see Dr. Patel. Every appointment I get to see her and she is always apprised with my condition and ready for me. Love this place??

Terrible. Admitted to Bayfront in February with pneumonia. She said I did not have pneumonia. She said radiology did not know how to read an x-ray. Did not treat me properly, and I have been sick seven times since. I have tachycardia. Refuses to use pulse oximeter. Instead uses a nurse who cannot detect weaker pulses and there cannot get an accurate pulse reading. Nurse practitioner could not prescribe the correct medication. Bhargava-Patel dropped me from the practice when I demanded better care.

Love Dr. Patel, but she really needs to get rid of Nurse Jackson that thinks she's a doctor and isn't. She's awful and denied my mother medication because of an argument with me. Way to go, Nurse Jackson! You really did a good job. NOT!

I see Pauline Ashton. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, she is incredibly caring and helpful, covers all bases, never dismisses my questions, I don't feel like just a patient when I go to her, I feel like a person. I feel incredibly lucky to have been put with her, one of the best doctors I have ever met and I unfortunately have dealt with many doctors in many offices, clinics and hospitals. Was good, Not now. 2 be fair 2 Dr. Bhargava-Patel, Problems are Ins procedures, NP's, who see low blood sugar falls as simple bruising! Insulin pump & CGM sensors NOT A PRIORITY! Lose your endocrinologist, 2 mnths 2 get appt with new Endo. Medtronic faxed form 4 emergency 30 day supply. Hypoglycemia Unawareness They were told copy/white out old doctor's info/put their info in/fax back.They left old info in accused me of FRAUD! Too lazy 2 white out/ fill in their info & fax back. Front staff fine

Dr Patel has been our family doctor for the past 15 years. She is caring, knowledgeable and thorough. She fights for you if your insurance company wants to interfere with your treatment plan. I appreciate that she orders tests to rule out/hone in on what the root of a problem is. She doesn't brush things under the rug or put a band-aid on it. She finds the problem. You are not just a number. She remembers you, your family and what is going on with you. PAs in the office are awesome also. A+

I had a total knee replacement at Bayfront medical center on February 28th and Dr. Patel was called in as my medical doctor to follow along with my orthopedic doctor she was absolutely wonderful I had problems with my blood pressure And she was there all the wayang she was there for me all night... thank you Dr. Patel

New patient w/ Debra Jackson, ARNP to get established at a Primary Care. This was the 1st office I've been to in FOREVER that treated me w/ the same care I give my dental patients! I was promptly greeted upon arrival, waited a few min, Asst Nicole introduced herself, then a few min later Debra came in. I felt she was very thorough/informative, took my best interests into consideration for recommended lab work, and gave med sample. Front desk ladies were pleasant, too. So far, so good!

She has been my doctor for the past 10 years. I have never had a more caring, thorough doctor. Both of the nurse practitioners in her office are also amazing. I recommend her highly.
