Dr. Kamat is nothing but an unprofessional, classless person that is only out for money. He does not care about his patients nor their well-being. When my family member needed his assistance, referrals, and expertise, he never took the initiative. In order for my family member's medication to be altered, he did not even suggest that they do a blood test before increasing or decreasing the dosage - instead, he just increased the dosage and did not care to check back. I highly suggest that new and existing patients of his find another doctor ASAP instead of using his faulty services. When your loved one needs help, they need it, and he is not the one that can deliver it.

I have been to different psychiatrists in the past and no one was able to diagnose me appropriately until I met Dr. Kamat. Not only is he knowledgable but he is very kind and will give you good advice if you tell him what you are struggling with. Since meeting with him over a year ago and finally being on the correct medication I have drastically gotten better! I cannot thank him enough. I highly recommend him.

Many doctors view their appointments as plain routine and do the bare minimum. But, with Dr. Kamat, as long as you describe your situation in-depth, and tell him exactly what challenges you are facing, he provides genuine advice and assesses all options with you. I've been seeing him for the better part of a year he has helped me in many aspects. Very thankful!

I was a patient of Dr. Kamat. In that year I never had one medical question asked other than what pills I needed. Then once he got that info our regular visits were less than 2 minutes with me leaving with a highly addictive anti anxiety medicine. When I realized how addicting this medication was (Alprazolam) and how incredibly high the dosage was I contacted Dr. Kamat to assist me in getting off the medication. He refused to take my call and had his receptionist tell me to find a new doctor.

Saw Dr. Kamat for 2 years and only have to leave because his office is too far from my new apartment. A great doctor committed to care BUT you need to speak up and tell him if something is not working for you. He worked with me to determine the correct dosage for my medication and prescribed me the 3 main medications I currently take to maintain my anxiety/depression. Very easy to schedule appointments and the receptionists are always nice. Highly recommend!

I've never said this about a doctor, but I would give Dr. Kamat zero stars if I could. He was very condescending. One time i left work early to go to an appointment and he canceled on me 15 minutes before it started for no reason! When I told the receptionist I was in a crisis and asked him to at least call me, he left me hanging. Then he dropped me without giving me a reason after a year. He's the reason I have trust issues with psychiatrists.

Dr. kamat is a great listener and his diagnostic abilities are superior. He really makes you feel comfortable and takes his time with you. The office is very inviting and it shows when you walk in the door. I would highly recommend Dr . Kamat should ever need a psychiatrist.
