Routine colonoscopy
Yesterday I had a routine colonoscopy with Dr Wyatt.I am an extremely nervous patient. From the moment I arrived at the Stuart surgery center, I was treated with compassion. They took me back and nurse Karen who was very caring explained everything to me. She was compassionate but strong. Which is what I look for in a bedside manner.A few minutes later I met Dr Wyatt who also was super compassionate and answered ALL my questions and concerns and I immediately felt as though I was in great hands. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Wyatt and her team.Thank you for the great care!

Lack of caring. Too many patients.
Trying to get them to see my elderly mom has been horrendous. She’s an established patient with them due to having a gastro disease. She has been admitted to ER 3 times in 3 months with issues that may be related to her disease. Can’t get them to see her in hospital and can’t get them to schedule an appointment that isn’t months away. Why take on so many patients when you can’t care for the ones you already have?

My visit was thorough and well orchestrated. The doctor’s follow up was excellent, with a thorough explanation of all findings.

Terrible Reception
I tried to make an appointment, but the receptionist hung up on me. I had told her that I was referred to the practice by my primary care physician, as I was overdue for a colonoscopy. The receptionist insisted that I also describe my health issues to her… not to a nurse or doctor. I was uncomfortable doing so. (I had no relationship yet with this practice, and wasn’t comfortable describing my Gastro ‘issues’ to a stranger who did not seem to have a medical education.) She then became quite rude, speaking in angry tones, and saying that she would not make an appointment for me. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She ignored me and hung up the phone. After that? You couldn’t pay me enough to walk through their doors.

Cares more about the money she makes from procedures she performs than helping cure the patient's malady. Does not care about the patient after the procedure is performed.

I feel Dr Wyatt is too busy to care about her patients. She told me after an endoscopy that I could possibly have cancer. I finally got a biopsy to find out after waiting three and half months to be told if I had cancer or not.. Did not find out biopsy results even then right away.
