Wonderful Doctor
During a first meeting, Dr. Tucker may seem curt. This is not the case. She is a an expert at her profession. Her approach is honest, to the point and not dancing around subjects. I really appreciated this approach and knew her single focus was to help me. I have taken her advice and seen great improvements. I believe you are very fortunate if you are able to see Dr. Tucker for your orthopedic needs. I am very appreciative.

An unexpected delight
You know you are in good hands when the patients in the waiting room are telling you how much you are gonna love meeting the doctor. Dr Tucker then lives into her reputation by being engaged, attentive, personable, super knowledgeable and providing a range of options for one to consider about their treatment. She took time to field a battery of questions I had and has a light touch. The Doctor is a consummate professional with a personal touch. I would highly recommend Dr. Tucker.

Worthless appointment
X-rays were taken of my knee, Dr Tucker was non committal in what the diagnosis is, set me up for PT. Refused to discuss my groin pain which is the real problem. Told me to make another appointment. She’s very quick to give cortisol shots. She was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I won’t be back.

Poor follow up care
I was an established patient of Dr Tucker's who performed a total knee replacement on me in 2017, when she was associated with Oro Valley Hospital. She told me then that I would need to take antibiotics before any dental work forever more...and has always refilled those prescriptions. Today, in preparation for an upcoming root canal, I called her office for another antibiotic refill, and was told that this was not possible, as Dr. Tucker had changed her practice to become affiliated with Banner Hospital, so I would need to make an appointment to establish care at her new office! Why do I need to do this? Didn't Dr. Tucker transfer all of her patient's records to her new office? Is this just a way for Banner to get more money out of us? This is absolutely ridiculous and I AM OUTRAGED!

Terrible experience
Went to see Dr. Tucker for severe hip pain lasting almost a year to the point where I could no longer bear weight on that leg. She took an X-ray and told me my hip was fine and the problem was probably from my back but she "doesn't treat backs" so she couldn't help me. Her "bedside manner" was terrible. Very dismissive, rude and abrupt. I went to see another doctor who said that only an MRI would show what was causing the pain. I had an MRI on a Tuesday. The results were given to the doctor on Thursday and showed the head of the femur was fractured as well as multiple other problems. As soon as the doctor received the results he immediately scheduled me for a total hip arthroplasty. The surgery was a success and I have been pain free ever since. I wrote a letter to Dr. Tucker and explained the test results to her. I said that I felt she and her staff had treated me very rudely and dissmissively. I never heard a word from them. Awful doctor. I wouldn't have my dog treated there.

Dr Tucker is absolutely great. Takes time and patience when discussing what is wrong and how it can be taken care off. Listens to questions and answers them in a way you can understand. My surgery went well and thanks to Dr Tucker I am on my way to living my life to the fullest.

My wife Ellen has been plagued with a bad knee for several years, and getting progressively worse with a nursing home looming on the horizon. We knew her knee joint needed to be replaced, but could not find someone that Ellen was comfortable with. After more than a year in search, we finally met Dr. Kim Tucker, who immediately relieved all our concerns. Her candor and honesty were like a wonderful breath of fresh air, and her encouragement not to give up opened an exciting new chapter in our lives. Dr. Tucker renewed our hope that Ellen could indeed overcome this debilitating knee problem and once again find life is more than living with distracting pain and immobility. One character point that we really like about Dr. Kim is her down-to-earth mannerisms that we seldom find within the medical world. Six weeks now beyond her surgery, Ellen is up and about without pain, and finding her physical therapy sessions a source of continuing improvement. Thank you so much, Dr. Kimberly Tucker!

Dr Tucker is great. She is a dedicated professional. Her staff has issues. The person that makes appointments is terrible. She is difficult to work with and is more likely not to return calls. The person who distributes paperwork before before the doctor has kept us waiting over one half hour each time. She has no skills in rapport. As a patient I evaluate the entire experience and this office does not meet me expectations

Kim Tucker is absolutely the finest surgeon I've been to see. I am a 40+ year professional Hollywood stuntman and have quote unquote been to the so called best of the best over the decades. And Dr Tucker Ian leagues ahead of them. Just look my name up on IMDB.com, Joel J Kramer Kim did a total knee replacement 1year ago and I am back at full capacity and have never been happier with a surgical outcome.

Dr. Tucker is a wonderful, caring surgeon that I would recommend to anyone. She replaced my left knee five weeks ago and the results have been outstanding. I walked a mile 13 days after surgery and returned to work without restrictions in less than four weeks. She was very helpful in working with me throughout the decision making process and I always felt in control. At some point, I will have to replace my other knee and Dr. Tucker will again be my first choice. She is the best.
