Lack of professionalism & knowledge - zero stars!!
Thoroughly disappointed with Dr. McMahon. I've had hot flashes for years & read Dr. McMahon is a member of the North American Menopause Association (NAMS) & is one of her 'specialties'. I waited 2 months for my appointment & was accidentally booked for an annual exam. Dr. McMahon came into my room & told me 'she can help me with my vagina' & when I asked about the new pill for hot flashes, Veozah, she said she heard about it at last year's conference & asked if I would give her until Monday to research this medication for me with my underlying autoimmune disease. She said the Veozah pamphlet has been on her bedside table since last year. I NEVER received follow-up from Dr. McMahon & my appointment was 3 months ago! I felt compelled to write this review as I'm honestly appalled with the lack of professionalism conducted by Dr. McMahon. If she isn't a menopause specialist, then remove it from your profile or 'dust off' the Veozah pamphlet & follow-thru on your patient's ask for help.

Thanks for the trauma
I will never forgot when she broke my water during labor even though I had begged them not to and cried (asked the resident to leave my room) But Dr. McMahon insisted! This is coercion and not ok. Breaking my water caused a cord prolapse and crash c section. And it was completely unnecessary. She acted as though she saved my baby's life when its the opposite.

Don't bother with this place and Dr. McMahon. As a new patient, waited 2 months for an appointment. Appointment was at 3 pm. Took the day off work. Was turned away at 2:50 pm because they have a rule that is not appropriately communicated that your appointment will be cancelled if you don't show up 30 mins early. Find a place that cares about about you as a patient. If I waited for 2 months, you can spare 20 minutes.

Had a great experience with her. Seemed warm and easy to speak to. Office staff was great. Where the experience soured is when I got a bill for $140 after my annual. Apparently, because I asked her two questions, she called that "pre-conception counseling" and charged me! I was appalled. Apparently nickel and dining patients is more important than good patient care. Will not be returning to the practice.
