Dr. Kimberly Hutchison, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Kimberly Hutchinson for many years. I find her very caring and always willing to help, alway going the extra miles for her patience. She is very knowledgeable. If I don’t have an appointment I can always contact her on MyChart, she always gets a message or a call back to me. She has made my quality of life so much better I owe her so much.

I found Dr. Hutchinson to be disorganized, uninterested in my condition, and unknowledgeable about how to connect with equipment suppliers to order download data. She bragged about her 'important' volunteer work unrelated to sleep medicine. I had to go over her head to get a timely response, and ultimately transferred to a practitioner outside of this OHSU department.

She listens carefully with respect and she is very knowledgeable about treatment options. She answers questions in a way that I understand and she has a holistic approach to supporting the patient as a whole person. I felt valued and more hopeful that as I explore the treatment options, I will have greater success in managing my chronic health condition. Dr. Hutchison is exceptional. She is the very best Neurologist I have ever had the privilege to see. I feel like she is committed to providing quality medical care and that she wants all of her patients to have the opportunity to live their best lives. I liked that she takes the time to explain the pros and cons of medicines and lifestyle and natural medicine alternatives. She is great!

This doctor listens carefully to what my concerns are and then prescribes a very effective medication or change in behavior. I strongly recommend her.

I'm not sure what this previous review is referring to (she sometimes works with residents). Dr. Hutchison has always been very caring and attentive to my concerns and she knows what she is doing. She also doesn't waste time or money offering tests or treatments that are unlikely to help. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

She is treating my father, if you want to call it that, at ohsu. She is horrible! Doesn't listen to patients family and rarely even comes in room. Probably specialized in sleep because then she doesn't have to interact or actually do anything!
