Had to wait a while but once in the room it was apparent he had reviewed records and had a good idea what problem was and best way to treat it. Very sincere Dr and good bedside manner. Would definitely recommend to others.

I went for a consult visit and then to my visit for the mylogram and ct scan. At both visits Dr. Johnston and his staff was knowledgeable and cordial. Nicer than any I have been seen by in the past and that is saying something. I would recommend him to friends, family, or someone in pain in need of a good neurosurgeon.

I would NEVER recommend Dr J. Worse shape now than before 2, yes 2 surgeries in 90 days….yes 90 days. Oh, by the way….I now have CRPS due to a damaged nerve during first surgery. Google it…CRPS.

My last visit was a follow up on my neck surgery. This is my second procedure with Dr Johnston. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for any spine related problems. The GNI Surgery Center is without a doubt the best place to have a surgery. From the staff at reception desk, to the nurses who are with you all the time, to the operating room personnel, it’s first class service. Dr Johnston is without a doubt the best in this area. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

I had pain in my back radiating down my arm for about 8 months, nothing seemed to help. I went to Dr. Johnston who recommend surgery on my spine. That seemed scary, but WOW what a difference. Absolutely ZERO pain in my back, neck or arm. Dr. Johnston made the whole process easy...and I mean easy. He explained everything in terms i could understand and followed up with me to ensure I was good to go. Thank you for allowing me to be pain free in almost a year.

October 1988. Doctors Walter Barnes and Kim Johnston. No pain since surgery. Run and lift weights. Was told by both I was lucky prices of disc hadn't cut my spinal cord. L4 & L5 had exploded. 8 weeks on my back, one shoulder down at all times, was the practice then. We felt blessed to have had these two Outstanding Doctors. Also allowed me to finish my military career including two deployments to the middle east.
