I am a local physical therapist and have had the opportunity to see many of Dr Schlabach's patients through the last several years. Her patients always have positive remarks regarding her knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend considering her if you are looking for a new primary care physician.

When Dr. Steve Schlabach passed away, I decided to choose a different family physician, closer to home. After realizing that this new Dr. was not quite the kind of Dr. I was looking for, I called Dr. Steve's office to see if I could return and see his wife, Dr. Kim. I had been a patient of Dr. Steve's for almost 30 years, so I thought I wouldn't have a problem returning to the office to continue seeing Dr. Kim. However, since they had already copied my file and transferred it to my new Dr., Dr. Kim's response was NO! I've never really liked her since being introduced to her by her late husband. She could definitely improve her bed side manner including the way she talks to her patients. The fact that she refused to take me on as her patient, was a true insult after all the years I spent being treated by her husband. I've seen my new Dr. a few times now and can happily say that my initial dislike of her has changed for the better and I am now quite content with remaining her patient.

Dr. Kim Schlabach has been my primary care doctor for years. She is very thorough and reliable. I rarely wait more than a few minutes in her waiting room. She tends to take friendly, but no-nonsense approach, which I like. I feel she has taken the time to really get to know me over the years.

I changed insurance and needed a new PC doctor. The first visit was not friendly. The first question was "How did you find me" with a very judgemental tone. The visit was very quick and her indifference was shocking. It could just be that she projects an icy or just a rude demeanor. However, I left feeling worse than when I went in. Not giving my business to this doctor. Back to looking for a good PC doctor.
