Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

The way my daughter and I were discharged from the practice is totally unethical. It’s nothing short of patient abandonment. They made it look like our fault. The whole ordeal has been physically and emotionally draining. Yay! Way to treat people with mental illness!! Would not recommend.

It took several different psychiatrists and lots of meds that didn’t work, I was referred to Dr O’Connell. He found the exact combination of meds to make of a lot easier for me. I would like to add that I occurs to me that a lot of the negative reviews here are from people that say he “doesn’t listen”. I think sometimes it is easy to confuse a psychologist and a psychiatrist. His job is not to do talk therapy, but to handle your medications, which he does, and quite competently I might add.

Really helpful
Read the reviews about the staff and I suspect they are from some time ago, as I found them to be both helpful and empathic. I got to see Dr O'Connell and was very impressed. He was able to sum up my concerns and explain in in a way that made total sense. He seems very focused on seeing me as an individual and not just prescribing by the numbers. He does tend to favor Wellbutrin, but explains why and in no way did I feel that this was my only option. Overall very positive experience, I've recommended him to some friends who had a very similar experience .

So unprofessional, and seem happy to kick someone when they are down. It wasn't just me it turns out either, I spoke to others who have gone here and they are very limited on the meds they prescribe, and seem unwilling to try anything outside of their minimal "go to" medications if those don't work. The front staff is incredibly rude and demeaning, and Dr. O'Connell believes everyone is on drugs, which is very hurtful when it's not true and you are already suffering mentally from other issues. TERRIBLE practice. Very unimpressed with the entire place, but Amy Jacobson in another who is particularly awful. If I was someone who needed help and wants respect, I would seek another practice. I'm giving one star only because they don't let you give zero.

Dr. O'Connell is a pleasure to work with, he has helped me not only fine the right medications for me, but has also listened to my feedback about them. I tried going through my GP for years and got almost nowhere. Dr. O'Connell did better work in two moths than they did in years. 10 out of 10 I would recommend him to my closest friend!

Dr. Killian O'Connell is a breath of fresh air in the industry. For so long my wife was bounced around from here to there with doctors who lacked the ability to use critical thinking skills. Dr. O'Connell uses a systematic approach and finds what is best for each individual person.

Doctor is ok. Office is TERRIBLE. Very little to no communication between staff. They never return phone calls. I had to call and ask about an issue three times and each time no one knew what I was talking about or had passed the message on to another staff member.
