Dr. Kiersten Moreno, MD

To start, she was running nearly an hour behind which led to her rushing through my entire appointment that I waited an entire month for. She was extremely invalidating to my IUD concerns and blatantly refused to take it out after not being able to locate it herself. For being a female “advocate” and healthcare professional, I felt so dismissed as she was more interested in discussing where I got my shoes from rather than hearing out my concerns affecting my daily life. I had heard negative stories of other patient’s experiences with her but took the risk as she was the only female provider available for the next few months. Avoid the Independence Women’s Clinic and Kiersten Moreno at all costs unless you enjoy such invalidation and unprofessionalism.

She is patient, caring and very responsive to all my questions and needs. Love her humor and attitude. Best Dr. Ever!!

I am so grateful for the care that Dr. Moreno provided for my pregnancy. This was my first baby and I was anxious. Dr. Moreno was very informative and caring.

I have been coming to Independence women’s clinic since 1986- my original physician has retired, so they put me with Dr. Moreno. What an amazing experience- very personable, easy to talk with, felt like chatting with a friend! Highly recommend!

Dr Moreno is very thorough, kind and pleasant! She listened to all my questions and helped me with what I went to see her for. I recommend her highly to friends and family! If you need an OBGYN-Dr Moreno is the best! She is great! Her nurses and staff are also very friendly and welcoming!

Dr Moreno is wonderful, friendly and goes the extra mile for her patients. I would definitely recommend her to some one new to having a baby or other health care needs.

I was impressed with Dr Moreno. She was very kind and empathetic. I appreciated the time time she took to answer my questions and give thorough explanations.

If you are wanting someone who makes all the decisions for you and doesn't take your opinion into account, she is your person. She will play it off like the situation she doesn't feel she has the upper hand with are do ot die, making you feel like you will hurt your baby if you do not choose what she wants. She will belittle you if you do not fall in line and even suggest you should have gone to another hospital while you are in the middle of labor.

Dr. Moreno is the only doctor who actually listen to my problems and help diagnose me with endometriosis and found something to actually help me with the pain. She also sent me to a pelvic floor physical therapist and omg they helped me so much! Highly recommend her!

Dr Moreno is the best doctor I’ve ever had! She will explain everything into detail and she cares about her patients! I absolutely recommend her to everyone!

It was a pleasant experience

I was skeptical of finding a new OB/GYN that actually cared and listened to my concerns, but Dr. Moreno has been going above and beyond for me this whole pregnancy. With any issues that arise, she makes sure to take it seriously and listens to me, and when it isn't anything to worry about, she makes sure to explain why its normal, instead of just saying it's fine and leaving it at that. She is extremely patient, kind, and understanding, and I'm glad to have found her.
