Absolutely FIRST RATE. Excellent doctor. Caring and thorough. He is knowledgeable and approachable, both in person and by email. I could not have asked for a better dermatologist. Another friend of mine is also his patient, and feels the same way. I'm amazed, given the number of patients that he sees, that he remembers personal details from one visit to the other, with intervals of 4 to 6 months between visits. I unconditionally recommend Dr. Touloei.

I am happy to share that I would definitely recommend Dr. Touloei to friends and family. He has been treating a lesion on my face that is prone to dark discoloration and inflammation which requires long-term care and continued monitoring. I have seen over 7 dermatologists over the years for this condition and Dr. Touloei is by far, the superstar of them all. He is quite personable, actively listens to and addresses all my concerns, communicates well, and will quickly make himself available when there is a flare up. He definitely treats my condition with care. More importantly, while the lesion is still visible, it has it has never looked better than it does now. I am thoroughly happy with the progress. Careful, comprehensive, and kind. As one of his many older patients, Dr Touloei pays close attention to my concerns and skin needs. I always feel like I am in the most knowledgeable care when I see him. Dr. Touloei is one of the most thorough, conscientious and considerate doctors I've ever encountered. He's taken time to personally follow up after surgeries ... and wasn't in a rush to get off the phone. His caring, reassuring and honest approach is extremely rare in the medical community, in my opinion. One in a million. Grateful that he's my specialist. I highly recommend him.

unkind, judgemental, more worried about "self" than patient

This doctor and his staff are liars. During my initial appointment they told me my procedure usually takes 1 visit and some people need to come back for a 2nd or 3rd visit. That sounded fine to me so I set up the procedure for the following week. Then when they were about to start they tell me that the average is 3-5 procedures. This was not a mistake or a misunderstanding. They flat out lied to me. I know a lot of people lie these days but I expect more from a doctor.

He’s very thorough and conscientious. He’s also friendly and responsive.

Dr. Touloei is very pleasant in his interaction with you as you express your concerns and worries. He is an active listener. He takes his time and thoroughly explains his prognosis and possible solutions. I appreciate his keen insight on dermatology. By far the best experience I've had with any dermatologist in Pasadena. I've visited several and have been misdiagnosed with no progress. My skin was 100% improved within a month.

I arrived to Dr. Touloei with a severed rush , Dr Touloei was very professional and thorough. It was important for him to get to the root of my problem and he went out of his way, to make sure I get the right treatment.
