Quiet, unhurried atmosphere. Dr. Rice explains things well, listens to his patient, and then acts on what he learns. Every person is a unique individual. This office is not a blind ‘cattle call’ as many other practices have become. I only wish Dr. Rice could practice in all areas of medicine and surgery so I could go to him for every health need.

I have been a patient of Dr Rice for many years. I have found him to be compassionate and very knowledgeable. He explains procedures and test results in clear terms. He is friendly and personable. He performed cataract surgery on me and I have had no problems. He follows any changes in my vision closely and is proactive in his care. I have been seen immediately after calling with concerning visual issues.

My experience with Dr. Rice has been great. He was recommended to me by my family physician. I’ve just had cataracts removed and he made the experience a breeze. He’s very personal, and I feel very comfortable with him as my ophthalmologist. Totally recommend him!

Dr. Rice took over the practice of the ophthalmologist I was seeing. I called because I have was having some difficulty that might possibly be retinal issues. The receptionist said they were scheduling appointments in January. I indicated that I might need an appointment earlier thinking this might be an urgent issue...nothing...I am disappointed and will go elsewhere.
