Mitral valve repair surgery
Very good communication prior to and after surgery. Even provided before and after pictures of the mitral valve. Excellent staff working with Dr. Miller, great beside manner. I’ve met a number of surgeons due to my late wife’s two double lung transplants. Dr. Miller is the nicest skilled surgeon I’ve met.

I has an Aortic Valve and Ascending Aorta replaced by Dr. Miller on June 1, 2016. The entire process, from initial consultation to post-surgery check-ups, was amazing! He took his time, answered all of my questions, and made me feel relaxed, well-informed, and ready to have my procedure. My post-surgery results have been perfect! Although this was the scariest time of my life, Dr. Miller was an amazing surgeon to have through this process. Here is a video of my life with Dr. Miller in it!: youtube.com/watch?v=wmpcuH2qYoE Also, if you are interested in following along with my story, follow me @Aortic_Adventure on Instagram.

Chest reconstruction. Dr Miller cut or tore an artery and told me he fixed it. He did not tell me it was an artery used for my heart bypass. Maybe he knew he sewed it shut and that is why he did not check it for flow. I do not know why he didn't as that would be normal thing to do. He sent me home in heart failure. I went to see him for a follow up visit and asked him why I could not breathe, or walk. Because I could breathe and walk before the operation. He told me "it takes a long time to heal. A year or more. Follow up with your cardiologist. He said his work with me was done. I can only assume he did this to me to stall me past the 2 year statute of limitations, and it worked. It took me 2 years and 3 cardiologists to find the problem. Dr. Miller could have repaired the artery correctly when he had my chest open, or with a stent after surgery. But he chose to avoid me and leave me in heart failure. There is no excuse for his negligence.

Dr Miller is incredible! I had an aortic aneurysm that was pretty enlarged. I believe that he saved my life. He explained everything so thoroughly, that I knew exactly what to expect. I believe that he is truly a genuine person and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him in a heart beat! Thank you, Dr Miller and to his entire staff.

On September 28th 2015 Dr. Miller performed an aortic valve transplant and aneurysm repair on my husband. He explained everything and gave us so much comfort that we knew we were in good hands. Following the successful surgery Dr. Miller continued to have contact with us daily and always had experienced knowledge to answer our questions. It's hard to put into words how dedicated Dr Miller is to his patients but we were blessed to have him do the surgery. We highly recommend him. Scott and Denise
