I was a patient of Dr McMahon for about 18 months. I presented with long covid syndrome. I was told by him that perhaps I should find a physician in San Antonio or Dallas who might know more about Covid, as he was not trained in treating patients with this syndrome. He did try numerous medications to help with a constant headache, an MRI of my brain, and an electromyography. But I always felt as though he wanted me to see another neurologist. I have numerous doctors, and they are trying to figure it out, although NO physician has been trained to treat this syndrome.I also visited the office at least three times to speak with Dr McMahon, but he was not available. I requested a call, but it never came.I have since found a new neurologist in Weslaco who I am very impressed with.

Rude, demeaning, would not refer to neurosurgeon for a brain tumor pressing on the brainstem. Do not recommend this doctor.
