Dr. Kevin Koth, DO

After my surgery to repair broken humerus my mother asked if there was any nerve damage. He rudely said I don't know thats not my job to look for nerves damaged. I just fix the break. One visit I was left in waiting room over 2 hours, forgotten about. He always rushed thru my appointments and never listened to what I had to say. Repeatedly told him my shoulder hurt and asked why it never got x-ray?. His reply was I don't know guess they didn't feel you needed it. He said my pain was just coming from the break that the numbness , weakness, and wrist drop will eventually heal.

Dr Koth is the best. Polite and very skilled. Not one issue with my total hip replacement . Six years later and no problems. Since he left the area and doing well in his new place I will gladly drive to him if I ever need another hip replacement. Trust him 100%

7 weeks ago I broke my 5th metatarsal resulting in surgery last week. Not being from around here I did a fair amount of research on Dr Koth (I was referred to him by the er.) I came across several negative reviews which made me nervous that he was just another horrible Dr. We ended up giving him a chance anyways and I’m beyond glad that we did. His team is very down to earth, listens to concerns, and helps with making the best decision for you and your family. The day of surgery couldn’t have gone any smoother. They called for us to come in early, once we arrived we were in the room within a min or two being prepped for surgery. They were literally waiting for us to arrive! Although I’m still healing I feel like the surgery went well, I’m pain free much sooner than expected. If you’re looking for an ortho please give this guy a chance.

Rude staff and Dr was no better. Very arrogent as if he was the best of the best. Didn't even know what I was at visit for. States what's going on with those knees??? I'm here for pain in other joints. I have been treated by Dr Blake and Beth for this problem. He took it personally just from the mention of prior Dr in this office. Guaranteed the injections would work because he knows how to give them right. Did I mention he took a call while in examining room. With me, non emergency call. One more thing.....bed side manners go a long way. I believe this doctor is totally about the money because he is an azz to his patients.

Extremely rude, swears in the office, and is unprofessional. He also refused to do his job because he couldn't be bothered with paperwork.

Dr Koth did a total right hip, a neck and lower back surgery and I now have no pain in my leg or my shoulder. I figured I would pe in pain for the rest of my life. But due to his great diagnosis and procedures all my pain is gone.

I am very impressed with Doctor Koth. He is very dedicated to the welfare of his patients. He saw my son with no other doctor wouldn't and did a superb job on his hand surgery. I highly recommend him.

My mother saw him due to a fall. The receptionist was rude when we walked in because of work related issues. Then after a 2 1-2 hour wait, dr. Koth came in and said what was wrong with my mother. After realizing she was hurt elsewhere and needed her medical bills paid, he said he could not help her and the only person that could was not on this planet. What kind of Dr. says that to a patient? Would not recommend for my worst enemy. Would give 0 star if available. Does not make HMC look good.

My son had a torn ACL in his knee. DR. Koth did my son's surgery and was so wonderful.. he did a amazing job on my son's knee.. He took the time to check on him after surgery. I have had to go see Dr. Koth over a neck prob. every time I go he asks about my son & how he is doing. My son's scaring is barely noticeable on his knee.he gave us options before surgery on what to do..He is every caring and will explain everything to you. I am going to see him after my neck surgery and highly recommend.

Via phone calls to schedule my elderly mother to this new doctor I found the staff to be disorganized, discourteous, and condescending. They are the only ortho in the area and they know it!

I must say that Dr. Koth is a great Dr. His bedside manners are wonderful.He makes sure every thing is on order before surgery. He did a total knee replacement on a friend and she is three weeks ahead on her therapy. I'm getting shots in my knee and he does the shots himself. He is a top notch Dr. I recommend him 100 percent.

I was recommended to see Dr. Koth by my Primary Doctor. Dr. Koth read the results and admitted that I had an issue that needed surgery. After Dr Koth seen that my issue was a Workers Comp related. He refused any further treatment. I do not recommend this Doctor. Please find another orthopedic doctor if you're seeking one.

I've been using Dr Koth for years and followed him here to Harrisburg. He has a very kind and funny bedside manner and knows his business. Patient care is his priority, not doing unnecessary testing and running up patients bills, or doing unwarranted surgeries. I highly recommend him. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a Doctor. I felt he deserved it.

I would recommend dr Koth in a heart beat he talks with you discusses all opions then you make a decision together my surgery went well very good bedside manner God bless you dr Koth

Missed my appointment and called to reschedule. The male receptionist was very hateful when I asked to reschedule. He said are you sure you want to reschedule, after all you missed your appointment. I told him yes but it was all down hill from there, I finally just hung up. Pretty sad that I have to find a new doctor because of the bad receptionist that was there when you changed locations.

Got me in right away and fixed me up real good. I was at my breaking point and could no longer tolerate the pain. Dr. Koth addressed it immediately. A minimally invasive surgery and I was quickly on the road to recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
