Excellent Oncology Care - Forever Grateful!!!
I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Knopf for the exceptional care I received during my treatment for Stage 4a Ovarian Cancer. Dr. Knopf exudes compassion, warmth, and positivity. He has an unwavering commitment to his patients. He makes himself available to his patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via text and phone calls. He helped me manage a multitude of side effects. He is very knowledgeable about all the different types of treatment options and the known side effects. He ensures I am safe and do not experience any serious adverse events. This is a hard review to write because there aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to Dr. Knopf for his excellent care. He helped me through what was the hardest time of my entire life. He is angel and I will forever be grateful to him. Cancer is terrible and he walks through the darkness with you. Patients whose doctors provide unwavering support have better outcomes. I cannot recommend Dr. Knopf enough!

The most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen and I’ve been an RN for 42+ years! I would not let him care for my dog. He spent less than 4 minutes total with my stepdaughter and never did order her pain meds as he said he would. All he was interested in was doing more tests and blood work and putting her on another chemo drug that would not prolong her life (Stage 4 BRCA with bone Mets). When asked about Hospice, he only said “if you want to go that way “, as if it offended him! I guess he prefers to just keep giving his pt’s false hope and not treating them for the pain they are feeling. Not a kind or compassionate drop of blood in his body, and he didn’t even have the courtesy of introducing the woman that came into the room with him! Don’t waste your time with this uncaring man; he would be best left to his research and leave pt care to someone who actually cares about people.

He was over an hour late. Did not apologize, then was treated with disdain and like i was an annoyance. He didn't review my charts ahead of time, or bring them in to the room to have them to review. He spent time on his pager and rushed me out of my appointment after HE was over an hour late.

Nothing is EVER handled the first time at this office. Dr Knopf leaves the appointment to enter notes and medication needed for chemo, and usually the script is written for 3 or 4 of the 5 meds I need. Then it takes the front staff multiple days to get a fax sent off. I would lose my job if I made as many mess up as this office does.
