Dr Hunter refused to review a 2nd opinion from a neurologist at Jefferson which confirmed that my husband had Parkinson's He said he was of a different opinion!!!!! Dr Hunter's evaluation was never as thorough as the doctor from Jefferson!I immediately got my husband away from Dr Hunter. The new neurologist, who was the 3rd I had my husband to, also confirmed that my husband did have Parkinson's.

Everything. Once doctor entered room he asked me how am I and started to do exam in details.Made sure that I can move with all body parts.I can not explain in words but he really impressed me how knowledgeable and caring person he is. I am so glad that I met him. I have hope that I will recover some day because of doctor Kevin.

STAY AWAY FROM DR HUNTER AND FIND A REAL DOCTOR AND A REAL TEAM!! ATLANTICARE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!! Not sure how this Dr is in practice or his staff!!! NO ONE does their job here. Dr Hunter is rude, does not read any messages on the portal (that i what its for DR!!!) and his team at the office is even worse!!! Dr Hunter diagnosed my mother in NOV with Parkinson's (told her 3 times (within 6 months) prior she did not and then randomly called her on a Sunday and advised her she did). No medication, no compassion, just "I'll see you in 2 months". WHAT A JOKE! Yesterday after complaining, Dr Hunter called in a prescription to help with her tremors (mind you he did not recall diagnosing her with the disease) and when picking it up at the pharmacy, they said that her current Blood Pressure medication would conflict the new one prescription and could slow her heart and have a heart attack. he advised us to call Dr Hunter to get guidance on next steps. Shoud'nt the Dr know this and advise this??? Right away I called the office around 2pm and spoke with the desk (who advised me that she would leave a message at high prioity) and I also left a VM with his LPG nurse. NO ONE CALLED!!!! NO ONE RESPONDED!!! SERIOUSLY??? THE CARE AND PROFESSIONALISM ON THIS TEAM IS OUTSTANDING!!!

I have been a patient of dr hunter’s for over 10 years. He is compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. My complaint is not with him, but his assistant, Vanessa. She will not return calls unless you call and request a supervisor. It took me 19 phone calls over a 2 week period to get a physician referral. I had to go through 4 office attendants, Kendra, Kayla, cierra, and mckayla, and the office superviser, Erin before I could have the patient referral faxed. Everyone said it had been faxed to a major neurosurgery center. But they never received it, Vanessa only returned 1 phone call and made me feel like I was a major annoyance. The only time I got what I needed was to contact Erin, the supervisor. I don’t know what the problem was, but it was extremely nerve wracking. No one should have to call 19 times to get a simple fax. This not only happened once but I had the same trouble 2 years ago.

really don’t recommend this doctor if you want someone who is kind and warm and will listen to you. he walked into the door to see me as a new patient and said “i’m not a pain management doctor”. i guess he made up his mind about me before even seeing me. i have family history of neurodegenerative diseases and MS symptoms and he wouldn’t order any MRIs even tho my last ones were 10 & 6 yrs ago. he told me to take b12 and all my problems were from lack of sleep. hello! my lack of sleep is a symptom of a bigger picture. i brought a folder of relevant labs/old imaging/etc and he barely looked at any of it and asked ME what we do next. i said “i don’t know?” shouldn’t the doctor be the one to know that? definitely not a good experience especially when factoring in the front desk staff who seem to not know what they’re doing and rarely answer the phones.

I am very disappointed in Dr. Hunter. 2 years ago, I had a sleep study done at Bacharach. Actually I had 2 sleep studies done. About 3 months after the studies, I met with Dr. Hunter. It didn't seem like he even knew why I was there. After the appointment, I didn't hear anything from Hunter. Several months went by without any word, so I called Bacharach. Bacharach told me that I would soon get a call from a sleep apnea vendor that would come to my house and show me cpap machines. Well that never happened!! Fast forward to today, I have called Hunters office and left several messages for his medical assistant. I told his office manager that my cardiologist said that my heart ? valve problem is getting worse due to untreated sleep apnea! I begged the lady to ask Kevin Hunter for a prescription for a cpap machine. I still have not received a call back. I wouldn't recommend Kevin Hunter to anyone!
