Dr. Kevin Hsiung, MD

I just had my first prenatal appointment with Dr. Hsiung this past weekend. He came in what seemed very aggressive and almost yelling at my husband and I because a previous doctor I saw gave me a wrong idea about how far along I am. He also kept making a big stink about how me wearing overalls made his job harder (for the sonogram) when it took 2 seconds to remove for him to access my belly. During the sonogram, he did not care to show me what was on the screen. His demeanor was very aggressive and rushed and honestly, I couldn’t enjoy what was my first prenatal appointment because he left such a sour taste in my mouth. Looking to switch doctors immediately.

I've never had a doctor take the time Dr. Hsiung took with me to provide me with so much information regarding the situation at hand. He answered every single question i had and then more. He has a good sense of humor too. Super happy to have chose him.

I saw Dr Hsiung and it was clear he was in a hurry and didn't have time for me. I had done some research on which doctor I should go to at my age and for how awful I have been feeling. Everyone suggested to find a good obgyn. So I googled what all an obgyn doc helps with, besides the obvious, and it seemed to fit what I may be looking for so I chose this office because of the good reviews. When the Dr came in he was talking fast, talking over me after asking me questions and adamant from the start that I had been miss diagnosed from 2007 until now yet he wasn't interested in my health history at all. He wasn't interested in hearing anything I was concerned about and just kept telling me to go to a different doctor. He was totally not interested in talking with me at all. He heard nothing of what I was worried about. It's been awful finding a good doctor here in Nevada but this doctor was by far the worst.

I was told by this specific doctor to eat whatever I want so in my 3rd trimester I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. My dietician said no u have to eat in moderation so this is y he gets 3 stars from me.

Just called to set up as a new client. There are 3 doctors there and all booked up the desk told me on phone. Very rude also and hung up on me without any advice help to find another doctor or put me on a waiting list. Don’t bother calling they don’t want new clients.

Dr. Hsiung is an excellemt doctor and surgeon. He always puts his patients needs first, even at 2AM. He also takes the time to teach and explain complex medical issues to his patients. And his office feels like a spa not a regular doctors office.
