Unprofessional behavior
Dr. Hicks has been our family primary doctor for the last 10+ years. Today I am saddened to say that he will no longer have thar status in our family. In recent years we noticed some changes that did not sit right with us, but what I encountered this afternoon was the ultimate and final straw. His dismissive attitude in which he spoke to me is not acceptable about his misinterpretion of my request pertaining to my lab work. Then he had the audacity to tell me that my comments were not up for debate. This is not acceptable behavior for a doctor to interact with his patient. All of this misunderstanding was about me receiving an invoice for $130.61 from the incorrect lab. In which he should be responsible for, since he sent my labs to the incorrect vendor. The front office staff is awesome. Thank you ladies for the wonderful memories.

I have been seeing Dr. Hicks for over two years he’s been my primary care doctor what I like about him the most is if there’s an issue that he has exhausted all his options I love the fact that he will refer you to a specialist who can further evaluate you instead of just saying do this do that take this take this he will not do that he will consult a specialist I love that part about him not only that he’s very thorough and he listens…. Even if I have to pay out of pocket he still would be my primary care physician

His name should be called Mr misdiagnosed and would be better off diagnosing fleas from a dogs back side. I saw this man for 7 yrs as did my oldest child.. I kept coming to this man with signs of weakness in my hands , loss of mobility, eventually it effected how I walked . To wear i needed assistance going to the bathroom. I even put on 12 pounds of weight in a month. And I was a very active physically and ate extremely healthy. We often talked about what I was into during my child's pediatrician appointments. . I showed up with my hair falling out and practically in tears asking for further tests. He is not an in depth man . He practically fought me on getting more tests and had the nerve to brag that he knew it would show nothing. More than a weak later he was proven wrong and instead of explaining much he passed a card for a rheumatologist and pamphlet across the desk on nutrition... smh if you think you have more than common cold run away. Hes a common quack

Dr. Hicks was my general practitioner for several years. Last year he misdiagnosed me in regards to a very serious medical condition. I'd explained all my symptoms, he knew my family history, yet he still told me "you're chasing nothing." After seeing a specialist and being properly diagnosed, I wrote Dr. Hicks a letter re-explaining my symptoms as well as my correct diagnosis, confirming he had indeed misdiagnosed me. He has yet to respond after several months. I will never revisit his office!

Dr. Hicks is a very patient and knowledgeable doctor. He thoughtfully explains what he is doing and listens with interest to my concerns. His manner is humble yet confidant. I also like his friendly staff as well. I have enjoyed having him as my primary care physician for the past two years.
