Dr. Kevin Chen, MD

I visited last week for hand pain due to osteoarthritis. The appointment itself was great which is why it was so disappointing to find the doctor or the office had included information on weight loss on my chart and in my follow up suggestions, without me asking or without it being discussed, and without checking on my history with ED. I attempted to contact Dr Chen twice and have received no response. Really disappointed. Visitor beware.

I'm 50/50 on Dr. Chen. But his after care and assistant get 0 stars. He did a great job fixing my arm after a big injury. But after I woke up from surgery he was gone. Didn't even stick around to tell me what was done or how it went. The pain medication he gave me was not sufficient for the pain and I called his office nonstop the next day because of the excruciating pain and his assistant didn't answer the phone or callback after multiple voicemails. I had to contact the director of IBJI and the assistant called me back mad asking if I called and why. I explained to her that I had to go to the emergency room at St. Mary's to get put on morphine. Then Dr. Chen called me at 4:45 that day and said I heard you're In pain I'm leaving a prescription at the front desk, we close in 15 minutes. Luckily I live close and was able to pick it up. 6 weeks later my ulnar styloid pops loose from a rookie mistake he made trying to attach a ligament he should of left alone. I went to 4 different doctor

Dr Chen put a Plate in my Wrist,and did another Surgery on my etc,he answered All my questions,quite caring.
