Dr. Bluemel has been our care provider for over 20 years and he is such a blessing. He Is an excellent doctor and shows care and concern for his patients. He deserves a VERY hefty raise in salary.

Doesn't let you advocate in your care
I'm trying to talk my relative into finding a new primary dr. He doesn't listen or care about patients wants or needs. You should be able to get a second opinion, get referral to female dr if you feel more comfortable with female vs male for female care and listen when something has been having pain for months! You know your body better than anyone! If something is wrong than figure it out don't do minimal care then say it's fine when the pain won't go away or do nothing.Especially when this patient worked hard all their life and have great insurance that you can go anywhere to be seen. I won't be allowing this to happen anymore or he won't be my loved one primary doctor anymore along with taking complaints higher up about poor care.I promise that.Some of his care on others makes no sense but I won't go there with others issues.

Dr. Bluemel is wonderful! He must study my chart and history before he even comes in or he has a fantastic memory. Goes over every detail, listens to my concerns or questions and responds with an agreed upon game plan on what we're doing going forward by the time I leave. Couldn't ask for anything more.
