Terrible experience
After waiting over 6 weeks for an appointment - I was phoned by his PA the day before I was to go & cancelled my appointment for no apparent reason. Don't waste your time there . . .

Confident and Genial
I've received care from Dr. Barrette in his office and in the OR. He is easy to talk to and understand in the office, and efficient in the OR. I appreciate that he made me feel at ease in the OR with a pleasant environment. I have every expectation that my back pain will be remedied or reduced.

Dr. Barrette was one of the best doctors I have experienced. He is very kind and explained my procedure in great detail that I could understand. Great staff, everyone was very friendly and professional. He helped my hip pain and I will forever be grateful!

This doctor did not even try to help my chronic spine pain and leg pain and did not support the recent spine surgeon consult suggestions which I had agreed with stating there was nothing he could do and there is no reason to be in pain despite my imaging proven diagnosis and medical history. He was unkind and belittling and when I became tearful in the appointment he took that to write an incredibly dismissive and inaccurate note in my chart that I’m sure will make future medical care more challenging. There was not a single minute of the appointment that he tried to help in any form from the start. This was a waste of time, money, travel, waiting for an appointment and mental bandwidth living with chronic pain. I have already found another doctor who reviewed my imaging and is willing to help but now need to wait for that appointment all over again. I had requested a doctor who was a good listener and it is very unfortunate that I was placed with this doctor with that request.

Dr. Barrette made little to no effort to help, sent me for shots in my spine which would not help my hip pain.Checked with his nurse regarding the purpose of the shots and immediately cancelled when she told me it would not help my hip. When I returned a month later after waiting to get an MRI, he didn’t have the records and told me the lab was not part of the network, yet test results always appeared in my portal and all my doctors had been given my results. Gave him my ownCD and report and was not offered any solution except for physical therapy which would not help in my case ;I wasted too much precious time trying to get appointments and am back to the beginning.Will be looking for a new doctor.
