The last time I will ever see a male doctor
This was the worst experience and I left the appointment in tears. I went in because I was experiencing intense menstrual pain that was impeding me from having a normal life. I told him I thought it was endometriosis to which he rolled his eyes. I explained my symptoms and he literally told me 'Yeah, periods are really stressful. You're just stressing yourself out and making the pain worse.' And then he told me to see a therapist. Shocker, I went to a different doctor who actually listened to me and what do you know... I have endometriosis and finally got the proper care that Dr. Ault denied me. Don't waste your time with him, he's the poster child for why men shouldn't be in women's health. You'll only get dismissed, belittled, gaslit, and mis-diagnosed.

Dr. Ault is great- helped me determine the best contraception for my situation (migraines with aura- contraindicated for most hormonal BC) when I was getting ready to start a medication that required I use two forms of BC. Very knowledgeable and kind.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Ault. I came to him with surgical and medical documentation from my previous doctor. He flippantly blew me off, suggested I get on ‘the pill’ and by the end of the appointment I was frustrated to tears to which he responded, “I don’t know what you expect me to do. Lots of women have issues, just like you.” It was clear to me at that point that we were not a good match. I was beyond frustrated and humiliated. His bedside manner was horrendous with me.

Dr Ault is wonderful. I had been to many MDs with persistent vaginal discharge and I was peeing all the time. He was able to identify the problem when no one else could.

Did not listen- The website says he treats pelvic pain. I cannot get out of bed two days per month and he said it is probably "referred" pain. Dismissed the pain even though I have had several ovarian cysts. Did not order any tests.
