Dr. Kerry Rut, DO

I really did not have a nice experience with Dr. Rut, my appointment with her felt very rushed. I just went in because I needed a refill on my birth control, I already had a pap done within the past year (with a different doctor). She did a breast exam and during that time, she noticed my underarms were very dark. I have always had sensitive underarms and since I was 9 years old (I'm 30 now), I have had dark armpits and would get some form of eczema or rash that no doctor I have had could give me an answer about - normally, a steroid cream clears it up, but I always have had darkened underarms due to the rashes. Dr. Rut decided that I could potentially have diabetes and while that's fine, I don't mind her looking out for me, she then began to make assumptions about my diet and started to inform me of what I should be eating with diabetes... I don't have diabetes. I'm perfectly healthy and did not appreciate her basically diagnosing me based on dark underarms and my weight.

Worst experience EVER! Dr Rut was sure I must have had cancer because I got my period a year into menopause. I knew it was a random period but she was adamant that doesn’t happen. I had terrible insurance so before she would do the follow up procedure, the office required a $500 deposit. It’s cancer, I have to do this. Gave them my credit card for the deposit. Dr Rut does the procedure, no cancer, “you’re fine” and walks out. Ok. Never seeing her again, she sucks. But the office has no record of the $500 deposit they forced me to make and has sent it to collections. So Dr Rut caused an unnecessary cancer scare and ruined my credit score. Terrible doctor, even worse staff.

I saw Dr Rut for the 1st time today. I was very impressed with how sweet and compassionate she was during my exam. Very professional and above all else very knowledgeable and confident. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

I love Dr. Rut, she really goes beyond her job title to help anyone out. She truly cares for her patients and is very smart. I can go to her for anything and feel 100% confident in her answers.

Dr. Rut has been nothing but kind and understanding every time I have come to her with an embarrassing problem. She always remains professional as well as empathetic which is very important to me. She’s very thorough in her exams and takes the time to go over all possible treatment options.

I haven't found a doctor more attentive then Dr. Rut she's amazing and is actually in the field cause she enjoys helping patients!
