Dr. K Briones takes time to listen to my concerns, make subjections to help me feel better. She asks questions about my health that other doctors don't, then recommends things that will help. Dr. Briones is one of the best.

As an educated consumer and patient for several years who has always had annual physicals, I provided Dr. Briones with health information for a review of systems including visits with other doctors and health professionals during my most recent physical. I was surprised to receive a $90 fee for an office visit. When I inquired, I was told that Atrium ?does this and that because I had labs performed pre-appointment and discussed the findings, I was charged. I readdressed it again thinking a mistake was made either in her notes or in billing. The bill was reversed and I was released from her care. Perhaps this termination should have occured several years earlier when I requested a lab for LPa, something she had not heard of. It determines heredity factors for cholesterol. I requested it for years. It was her practice partner, Dr Dumas, that encouraged me to get a blood calcium score which determined my need for a cardiac prevention doctor. Advise: Be careful with Dr. Briones!
