Not happy
I had been experiencing breast pain for over 2 months and already anxious about what was going on. I had high hopes for Dr. Bennet when I saw her website, but after the initial appointment I left scares and even more worried. She came in on her high horse practically berating me for wasting her time for 'thinking' I could possibly have breast cancer. She examined me for 1 minute asked a couple questions and told me I was 'fine' and needed to eat more fiber. I was totally at loss for words with how I was treated by this women who treats people soley off her own judgement of them. I do NOT recommend her to anyone who is trying to better their health, she will just make you feel worse about yourself. Now I'm left to find another breast specialist who will actually try and help me figure out what's going on.

Should be a zero!
Bennett along w/her PA belong in a lab far far away from patients. She only cares about genetic testing & making you her next lab test. She was more concerned about the gum my mother was chewing & how it would affect the genetic testing she hadn?t even agreed to vs her actual medical history. Her PA was unable to tell the difference between my mothers open heart surgery scar versus the ones from her lumpectomy. She also said failed to notice that my mothers pace maker was not a chemo port that had been left in. The PA also performed a breast while my mother was seated rather than lying flat. These 2 women clearly paid no mind to my mother passed medical info. The final straw was when the PA asked if she could take a picture of my mothers breast w/her cell phone for her file. What kind of sick person wants a picture of their breast taken by a complete strangers cell phone. I will never again set foot in Dr Bennetts office my poor mother left the office in tears and vowed never to rerun!

She thinks she is God!
My mom had Bennett for a doctor and we thought she was great at first. But she slowly started to show her true colors after my moms surgery and radiation. Refusing to listen to my mother when she had symptoms that suggested her cancer was back, playing games with her life as if it wasn't serious. It was disgusting to experience. Doctors act as if they are god and it is not okay. My mom went from stage 1 to stage 3 in just over a month, but didn't seem to care about that fact when my mom expressed her concerns. Dana Farber is taking my mom as a patient now and even they said Bennett was horrible for what she has been putting my mother through. She was more concerned about her son's allergy test than my mother's cancer coming back and brushed it under the rug during her appointment. DO NOT TRUST HER. she may cure you at first or says you are cured, but if it comes back, she will not care.

Dr. Bennett is caring and honest, expert in treatment of breast cancer, thorough and available. She spent nearly an hour with us on our first appointment. An hour! She removed my wife's tumor completely and has made herself continually available to explain next steps, answer questions, etc. Any woman fighting breast cancer would be very fortunate to have Dr. Bennett on her team.
