Very rude and unprofessional, very snobby. Gets very irritated if you ask him questions and rudely interrupts you and visibly shows his annoyance. Clear sign of incompetence. Worst doctor ever encountered.

Arrogant & Condescending
Telehealth
It’s too bad zero stars is not an option. This man needs a repeat course on bedside manner because he has none. His arrogance along with his condescending tone towards his patients is astounding. He was very dismissive towards my questions and almost seemed annoyed that I was asking any in the first place. Every time I tried to speak he would cut me off mid sentence. He was very cold and outright rude, and was also 20 minutes late to my appointment. If you get an appointment with this arrogant pigheaded excuse for a “doctor”, I would highly recommend calling kaiser and requesting to see a different physician.

RUDE! HORRIBLE BED SIDE MANNER!
I am reluctant to write this review because this doctor's assistant nurse is very sweet- but he is the complete opposite! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never had a doctor speak to me like this awful man. So obscene, 0 bedside manner, 0 respect. I left my appointment furious and in tears. Let me start by saying I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation 1 when I was four years old. Thought my childhood, I had a fantastic neurosurgeon/neurologist! He is my hero! After I turned 18, my parents decided that my younger sibling and I be cared for by their family dr. This meant changing from Sutter/Mercy health to Kaiser. I wasn't able to continue seeing my neurologist. For about 3-4 years, I didn't see a neuro specialist until I started having horrifying headaches every morning, similar to the ones I experienced before my Chairi brain surgeries! This scared me, which only made my symptoms worst. I was referred to Dr. Guppy, and his first visit was very dismissive and cold.

He was very dismissive and did not listen to my concerns. Notes following the visit were inaccurate and reported the appointment (video chat) as having been twice as long as it actually was. I plan to leave Kaiser as soon as I can so I can see a specialist in my condition, and someone who cares!
