Disappointed
I went to see him for multiple neurological complaints and left feeling completely dismissed and left frustrated by his repeated comments that I 'have a lot of anxiety'.

I see him for migraine treatment. It is a busy office and sometimes there can be a wait but this doctor is really great. He answers questions and makes you feel comfortable. His medical assistants or nurses are very nice also.

Kind, caring, and listened
Dr. Woolhiser is the most compassionate and detail-oriented neurologist I've ever seen. His bedside matter is courteous, he's an excellent listener, and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. I'm glad I finally found him!

Attentive, thorough, thoughtful plan of care
No wait in the office; scheduling and rooming staff were very efficient and kind, Dr. Woolhiser was on time (we had an early am appt); he was thorough in his assessment on this first appointment and plan for my husband. Asked questions. Was respectful and kind. Carefully checked with us several times to make sure we understood next steps, and what to expect. Husband said 'best medical appointment' he has had. We feel very fortunate to have found him and appreciate that he will be following my husband's care. Bottom line, he was thorough, kind, attentive and had a lovely sense of humor. Highly recommend; would refer family and friends to him.

Doesn't care
I'm sure this man cares enough to show up make a notation on your record and bill your insurance. Does he care about getting a diagnosis or addressing your concerns and symptoms? But does he care about you as a human? Not at all. His staff won't even take the kind suggestion that TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS YELLING, and kindly stop TYPING TO US THAT WAY. Terrible experience.

Very unprofessional, rude, dismissive and I refuse to see him again. Doesn't listen to you or answer your questions. Makes you feel like nothing more than an irritation to him. He only stays in the room long enough to notate that he saw you and he's gone. You're done. Not much help there. Plus makes you sit and wait forever even though the office is empty. Don't waste your time . Just skip this one. There are far better neurologists in the area.

Re: Dementia Patient You have to make suggestions and most of the time he says You can try that. We've asked what should we do when our family member is trying to run do we take her to the ER every time like his associate on call told us and he said no or insurance will not pay after awhile. I said what do I do then he turned to the dementia patient and said if you keep leaving we'll have to put you somewhere. Of course the patient said NO. Not sure if he is compassionate enough.
