Hot-tempered and Mean
I found him to be mean, hot-tempered, extremely insensitive, borderline verbally abusive, and lacking in all empathy. At my very first appointment he insulted me and blamed me for my injury. Moving forward, I was on edge and extremely uncomfortable dealing with him. I most definitely feel it affected my healing process. He performed my surgery but never checked in on me after surgery or called me after I was sent home. After an extremely upsetting appointment with him that ended in a verbal altercation (which is easy with him), I fired him and transferred all future care to a different orthopedic doctor. All in all an absolutely miserable and frightening experience.

In the first part of December 2020, I fell and broke my left femur. The middle of the bone broke and had to be played with eight screws. On top of that the femur bone just above the knee shattered. It is now March 25 and after wearing a leg brace and having P.T. I am walking in our home without the brace, but with a walker. I am 73 and looking at building more strength as the weather warms and am able to walk outside. I would strongly recommend Dr. Lowry and his full staff at Timber Drive in Rhinelander. What very caring people!

Dr. Kent Lowry replaced my husband's left knee in 2017 and his left hip in 2018. Both were in total arthritis break down..hardly anything left of either joint. Dr Lowry replaced them and did an excellant to perfect surgery on both joints. We couldn't be happier with his new abilities and his pain free life. He had suffered for years. Dr Lowry was our hero and so easy to work with, we felt so well taken care of and had the best surgeon and staff. Thank you Dr. Lowry !

Dr. Lowry did an excellent job fixing my broken foot. The option was left up to me to have the surgery or not and I chose to have the surgery so that I could get back to work sooner. Dr. Lowry did not push something that I did not want. I will definitely recommend Dr. Lowry and his amazing staff to anyone needing orthopedic work. The staff at Northland Orthopedics is just a pleasure to be around also. Thank you for all that you did for me Dr. Lowry and your team.

Dr. Lowry performed hip surgery on me in March of 2016. His attention to detail enabled me to resume my normal daily life within a matter of weeks. I am extremely pleased with his skill as a surgeon. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable and were very helpful in explaining what would happen before, during and after the surgery. THANK YOU to Dr. Lowry, Jen, Mike and all the nurses and staff who assisted in eliminating my pain and allowing me to move freely again.

It has been 5 years since Dr. Lowry replaced my hip and the results have been fantastic. We have met for numerous regularly scheduled follow up appointments and he has always been attentive to my total medical condition. Additionally he has consulted with me regarding knee and shoulder problems and has helped me alleviate much of this discomfort without the need for surgery so far. Always on time and willing to discuss all aspects of my healthcare.

Dr. Lowry and his team, at the clinic and St. Mary's hospital were great. 2 years out from right knee replacement and 1 year out from left knee replacement I have very good flexibility and strength in both knees. Everyone was very courteous and prompt. I would highly recommend Dr. Lowry and his staff for knee replacement.
