Worst experience ever!!!
This hand specialist is the worst, especially his office. That never answer the phone and when they do, you can only leave a message. They never call you back weeks and months go by. They never call workers comp Therefore, they're always denying surgery and procedures. I do not recommend you see this doctor at all!!

Horrendous Experience
This review is for Kenny Hanna when he was with the Foot and Ankle Specialists of Nevada. This was perhaps the worst medical experience I've had. After a two-minute evaluation, he said I needed elbow surgery. When I got to the hospital, he scheduled me for wrist surgery, too. He was an hour late and dismissive of me when I questioned the wrist surgery. It's my fault that I let him browbeat me into accepting it. He did the surgery, then left without giving me an pain prescription. The nurses were confused, but they couldn't contact him and let me go. I had to go to the VA ER the next day for meds, and the doctor there was shocked that I didn't have any. No follow up at all despite me calling. And to make matters worse, he botched the wrist surgery. My thumb couldn't take any pressure for a year. He's arrogant, pushy, dismissive. He lied about the recovery time, arrived an hour late for the surgery, prescribed no pain meds, left no after care instructions, and would not return calls.

I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Hanna. He corrected a previous Dr's misdiagnosed treatment as much as possible. Dr. Hanna always takes the time to explain everything and is very patient and compassionate.

Very good straight to the point no nonsense surgeon. Dr. Hanna looked at my shoulder after two surgeons previously said I needed a total shoulder replacement. Dr. Hanna recommended a scope procedure. We agreed that he would go in clean the area out fix the torn labrum to buy time for the replacement. It actually turned out much better than just a clean out. He fixed my torn labrum, rotator cuff, bicep and bone spur. Very happy.

Dr Hanna is a negligent and under-qualified Dr. My hand is permanently damaged because of his gross negligence. He said it was simple and I would have full function of my hand. The day he was to reset and pin my finger he was late and noticeably tired after a long day working at the hospital...his other job. It was 10pm and I did not feel good about it but felt I had no choice. He did not reset my finger, he pinned it in the broken position for over 10 weeks! I learned later this is a no-no!

DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR! Well well well a few months later and what do you know, my right hand is PERFECTLY NORMAL. Doubt you remember - you said my right hand was PERMANENTLY DAMAGED and that there was NO amount of treatment that would fix it. (hand badly crushed in a ATV accident). You said this after 2 visits! Wrong 5 mo later - MY HAND IS %100 HEALED / NORMAL! Zero surgery / physical therapy. Doubts?, I would love to give you you an update on your lack of knowledge /skills. loser

So many things wrong but I can only type in 150 characters. So I can't tell you about it. I was ran around. I was overcharged. My hand isn't better. And I just got a bill for $65780.00 even though Dr. Hanna said my insurance would cover it. Now I can't get a hold of anybody.

I was treated by Dr. Hanna in Feb. 2017 for pain in my wrists and thumbs, also known as De Quervain's tenosynovitis, "mommy thumb/wrist." He immediately recommended surgery and did not spend any time discussing the underlying problems or ways in which to avoid surgery. He also injected my right thumb/wrist area with a steroid that bleached the skin on my hand, due to the steroid containing preservatives and/or inserting the injection too high. I also suffered from a tremendous amount of pain.

We visited Dr. Hanna with a lacerated left ring finger, that was damaged 2 years ago & stitched up. He couldn't extend/straighten his left ring finger & we wanted to correct it. Dr. said that bc it's been so long, there was already arthritis in my fiancé's finger & that he needs to replaced the bone with cilicone to fix it. Also, to connect the ligament. After 3hr surgery, Dr. says there was no arthritis and nothing he could do. He literally did nothing and his finger is exactly the same, + SCAR

I certainly would recommend dr. Hanna to other patients, he is a very good dr. Hit the right spot when he give me the injection I went to see him on September and I was told his stuff was going to request my file from another orthopedic dr. I had before him, I was looking forward for dr. Hanna to perform my surgery but unfortunately when I call to make the appointment to do my surgery, I find out that they never call to request my file. It's a shame that such a good dr. Have such a poor stuff

Absolutely the worst medical experience a person could have. Not sure why he keeps leaving town. Did surgery on my hand, it was botched, he would not take responsibility for the failure, gave me a shot for a misdiagnosis of the problem then sent me home and to continue occupational therapy for 2 months, then come to find out he is leaving town again. Not that I would go back to him. Now I am in intense pain and am in the process of finding a competent hand Doctor to do a revision.

The staff of Dr. Hannah is very incompetent. I went to the appointment with the new patient forms filled out completely and attached my insurance cards. The receptionist said I had to fill out the forms again. I told her they are filled out. I tried to fill them out again but the pain in my wrists was too great. Then she says, 'oh' your forms are filled out and she tore up the second set. The doctor ordered RX at a pharmacy I cannot use, OmniPlus.

Got sent to him for my 19 month old son, for a second opinion on his hands/fingers. They don't extende all the way out. This doctor didn't even touch my son's finger nore do xrays. The first comment made was if my son had down syndrome, that his face structure shows it kinda. What doctor asked that. (He had reconstructive surgery at 9 months old on his skull, yes delayed not down syndrome! ) he acted as if he was scared to touch him. He recommendation was a new OT and wait till he's older.
