I got assigned Dr. Villar by default a couple years ago when my previous doctor moved away. Since then I've had maybe 5-6 appointments with him. I've always found him to be dismissive of concerns, he rushes along and is borderline rude when answering questions. He seems to be competent and I give him credit for that, but he jumps to conclusions about what is wrong and you just cannot make him listen long enough to change his mind. He'll just wear you down until you schedule with someone better. When I need to schedule an appointment these days, I select the option for "any primary care physician". So basically, when given a choice between Dr. Villar and a mystery box, I select the mystery box every time.
