Dr. Kenneth Thomas, MD

My dad was a one time patient here with elevated PSA. This doctor never did an exam. He told him that IF he had prostate cancer that he would live 15 years. We got second opinion with another clinic with urologist who did exam which was abnormal. He had MRI and biopsy to find that he had an aggressive cancer that without treatment he would not have lived a year longer. Thank goodness that he is being treated with meds and radiation. His prognosis is very positive now due to our second opinion. This clinic staff was very nice but we chose not be a patient there.

This team is a welcomed breath of fresh air to the medical field. I, unfortunatley see several specialist along with my primary care physician and it always seems that I am seeing them and doing them a favor by stopping by. From the time you walk into this clinic till you leave you are treated with respect and sometimes much needed laughter and good humor. The staff greet you at the window and all the way through you feel like you are part of the family and not just a patient. I saw Dr Thomas the first visit when he looked at my labs and thoroughly went over each one and what they meant. We discsussed treatment options and he did not leave until all my questions were answered. He was not in a rush to get me in and out and on to the next patient. The next visit I saw the Nurse Practitioner, Catherine Eldridge. She was the same. I would recommend this clinic and these providers hould you need a Urologist.

I would highly recommend Dr. Thomas to family and friends. Based on a resent (June 2020) very successful green light laser surgery for a very enlarged prostate, I give Dr. Thomas and his staff a 5 star rating. If you need a really good urologist, Dr. Thomas is your man.

I visited Dr. Thomas today for a cystoscopy. I had seen him for many years before , and I had been impressed with his "bed side manner." When I had to have a kidney removed last year, he and the surgeon he recommended worked well together, and I could not have been more pleased with him and the surgeon Dr. Whitehead. Dr. Thomas is the kind of doctor I am pleased to see because he provides excellent care, his staff and nurses are friendly and helpful, and his choice of surgeon indicates his concern for me his patient and his emphasis on quality and concern. I believe he is an excellent urologist.

Top notch kidney stone treatment, I won’t see anyone else! Dr. Kenneth Thomas and his staff including Nurse Practitioner Shelli Eldridge, Heather Hollis RN, and Katelyn VanDiver RN (and some other outstanding folks ...I’m forgetting their names) are all about the patient! This is my 2nd kidney stone being treated by Thomas Urology, and I’m sure glad these folks are in Starkville! I’ve got more stones to pass, so I’ll be back.

I had prescribed medicine that needed a new script. He faxed these to my pharmacy.

Dr. Thomas even assisted me in finding other needed physicians for my issues. He is a dedicated and wonderful physician!

Excellent experience with Dr. Thomas for a vasectomy. Very professional and accomodating. Procedure went very smoothly and post-op recovery was short with no complications. Would highly recommend to others.

I have had a problem with over-active bladder for 10-15 years. This has caused me to be up ever two hours at night, and I've tried different medications with little or no improvement.
